The hotel itself was nice, made better by the manager Gabrielle who went out his way to ensure our camper was parked, bikes stored safely and went the extra mile with kindness and making us feel welcome. |However….the room was dated and bathroom not as clean as I would have liked with hair in plug hole and in bath. The biggest surprise however was the ‘Fair’ was in town, this of course was not at the fault of the hotel but it was loud and lively until gone midnight which did disturb us. |If booking again we would definitely enquire prior to whether the fair would be there as would not want to stay again if it is. |Breakfast was a nice selection of continental food but overpriced (66 euros for 2 x Adults and 2 x children) when all that was consumed was a couple of coissants and a coffee. All in all a pleasant stay made better by manager but the Fair outside let it down.

Overall our stay was nice. Everything works and the staff is friendly. However, the room was pretty outdated and the hygiene could be better. Breakfast is sufficient: nice coffee, not a lot of healthy options (a lot of pastries), but very big croissants and pain au chocolate ;)

We arrived late in the evening on our bikes for the ferry. The owner was working at the front desk and was exceptionally welcoming and assisted us with storing our bikes. The views from the room were stunning ! Large rooms and beds appeared to be queens. Highly recommend !

The hotel itself sits on the seafront with a lovely sea view. The rooms are bright, spacious and clean. The hotel is basic but does the job nicely. Breakfast was continental and excellent. Gabrielle and his wife provide a first class service. Cant wait to visit again when I am next in Dieppe. Would highly recommend.

Welcoming hotel on the sea front. Rooms large with all overlooking the sea front. We were a group of 11 cyclists and we were made most welcome with room to store ALL our bikes. Breakfast was supurb and set us up for our days on the road. Staff welcoming and helpful. Great hotel.

Okay, it's really a 4 with great attitude and service. We have been to the hotel four times this year after moving to France. It's great. The owners are just a joy to know and make the stay terrific for everyone. Rooms are renovated, clean and every room has a water view. They now have a bar and there is a large, large dining room. Breakfast is a buffet of eggs, breads, rolls, cakes, fruit and lunch meat and cheese. The views are amazing, but this is Dieppe. The really large windows open to an ocean breeze. Yes, there is no air conditioning. This is France, we rarely find a/c in hotels on the water. The breeze will cool you down. Walking into town along the harbor street starts two blocks from here. Stay here, it's always been great.

The location of the hotel is just WOW, the room is spacious, and the view is just amazing. The hotel receptionists/management are very friendly and very caring, which was super nice, 100% service with a smile. We went for the breakfast, it was very nice, even satisfied my 2 y/o toddler and a 6 y/o fussy eater.. we will definitely visit Dieppe again, and we will most definitely be staying at Hotel de l’Europe again..

We had an excellent stay. The room was very clean, light and airy with a great sea view. Best of all when we arrived the owner came out to tell us we could put our motorcycles inside in a room covered by CCTV. I would definitely stay again.
