We arrived here on a Tuesday night with a reservation, but were shown a table that was less than ideal. It was so hot & noisy inside that we decided to relocate to the terrace area. It was better. We shared a baked cheese with honey dish. Then our mains of pepper steak & honey glazed salmon were fine, but not impressive. The salad was very basic. It was an adequate meal.

Easy French dinner with very informal setting and relaxed atmosphere. Food was really good, especially the brisket and the ribs. Fries were excellent. Personally I would prefer actual mayonnaise or more rich sauce to accompany the ketchup. No reservation needed, just queue a bit and voila! Recommended😊

We were staying in Reims for a couple of nights while touring the nearby champagne houses and were searching for a local but hospitable place to eat dinner, and Le Tablier looked homey and welcoming so we decided to give it a try. This is exactly the kind of brasserie you hope to stumble into in the middle of Reims. It's right on Place Drouet d'Erlon with a big, lively terrace facing the Subé fountain. That means it gives off great people-watching vibes, although in December it was too chilly to dine outside. The atmosphere of the restaurant hits that sweet spot between cozy, rustic, and modern. It feels relaxed but still polished, like a place that knows what it's doing without trying too hard. The tables are packed too closely together, which was a nice change as to the European norm. We were able to enjoy our dinner and conversation without touching elbows with fellow guests. To be fair, we were dining at an "off" time, so it wasn't very busy. Your mileage may vary if you visit during the popular dinner hours. The staff were genuinely welcoming, especially to foreign visitors, which honestly stands out by French standards. English menus were available, service was friendly and easygoing, and nothing felt rushed. We were greeted warmly by the host, who immediately started speaking to us in English (how do they ALWAYS KNOW?!). We still tried to speak some French to him, which he appreciated. I swear attempting to converse in the local language does wonders when you're a tourist in Europe! The cocktail menu is extensive and creative, and we had some excellent cocktails along with a solid house wine (typical in France) that set me back a whopping 5 Euros LOL. My hubby's cocktail was beautifully presented and garnished with dried fruit, and it was nice and strong. Even the bread basket deserves a shout out for the simple, fresh, and very snackable crusty, sliced baguette. Food-wise, everything was quite tasty. My snail-loving hubby said the escargots (9 Euros for

The fries were really good. Best I had in a long while. Better than what I had in Brussels. The pork suckling pig was good except for so much fat (fat is to be expected). Did not like asking for tip when paying with cc.

I know it’s a big call but I think this burger in peppercorn sauce might be in my top 3 world wide, the beef Bourgogne was excellent also, highly recommend, we will be back. Yum!

One of the best meals I had in France!! The service is amazing and the food was fantastic. As our French is very basic, they had bilingual menus to offer. We had a great local beer with our meal. This may be strange to say but I LOVED the green salad as much as my entree. We shared the “Big Beef” which is tenderloin, a local sausage, brisket and ribs. I”ll preface what I’m about to say, I am a barbecue FANATIC, I smoke and barbecue frequently and in my opinion, am a pretty good judge of that genre of cuisine. To start with, the tenderloin was good, though I felt it was a little dry. The sausage was excellent, crispy skin and moist, well seasoned meat. The brisket was spoon tender, so well seasoned, with the right amount of “fat cap”and just a delight to eat. The ribs, OH THE RIBS, my favorite barbecue meat and these were my top 5 of all time! Fall off the bone, wonderfully seasoned and just a delight to eat. We highly recommend Le Tablier, go there, you WON’T be disappointed.

The washrooms were clean and well stocked. Waitstaff was friendly, attentive and we were able to order order in English. We had the Brisket and quinoa burger which both came with fries. The brisket was tender and melted in your mouth. Quinoa burger had half an avocado lettuce and tomato, delish.

Food was delicious. But im expecting french food, but there are ribs, pulled pork, soy glazed salmon. Just sounded very fusion and also playing pop english music too. We ordered the pulled pork and soy salmon as recommended and it was alright.
