For us it was an ideal venue whilst travelling through France. Very hospitable staff and a good choice on the Gourmand menu. Good value, however the bed was extremely uncomfortable, giving us a poor nights sleep, which would stop us staying here again. |
"It was a dark and stormy night..." I landed here by default as I was stuck at the train station without transportation or hotel reservations in town. Despite an overflowing lodge, the hosts managed to find a room for me. I had a late dinner in the restaurant out on the terrace. The creativity and quality of the menu, the presentation of the courses, and the wine list were exceptional for what might be considered a mid-level establishment. The staff members were polite and sincere -- well done for a late arrival and a last minute dinner guest at almost 10 pm.
