Visiting Fragonard Parfumerie in Grasse was such a lovely experience. The moment I walked in, everything smelled incredible, soft, natural scents that instantly lift your mood. The staff were warm, genuine, and clearly love what they do. The tour was short but really interesting, showing how much care and tradition go into every fragrance. The shop itself is beautiful, full of little treasures and elegant bottles. I left with a perfume that reminds me of Provence every time I wear it. Just a wonderful place all around.
Visiting Parfumerie Fragonard was a very pleasant and fascinating experience. One of the highlights was the opportunity to see the production process of perfumed soap firsthand and listen to interesting insights about both traditional and modern techniques, shared by the guide. The explanation was engaging and easy to follow, especially during the demonstration of perfume samples, where we could try different scents and learn about their composition. An added bonus was the easy access to the location – there was convenient parking available, and no reservation was needed for the tour. The entire visit was very well-organized. We also had a positive experience in the shop, where we could see and try everything before making a purchase. The selection was extensive, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this place to anyone interested in perfumes or looking for a unique and enriching experience.
Such a memorable experience to visit a perfumery with such legacy and still a family run business in today’s corporate way of business. Wishing all the best for the future endeavours and plans the 3rd generation sisters of Fragonard family are aiming to reach. Speaking of their collections and after the tour of their factory, I can proudly boast and say I visited this place.
A tourist trap. Instead of actually creating your own perfume—as the workshops imply—you simply spend 10 minutes mixing contents from pre-blended bottles (each containing a mix of 5-10 scents) into your sample vial, followed by a tour and a sales pitch. Essentially, you are paying just to buy even more products; the workshop itself is completely useless, and the sheer volume of scents—a mix of absolutely every aroma imaginable—gives you a terrible headache during and after the session.
Liked the interesting overview of the parfumeur's job, the production methods and options and the development of the craft over time.
We went for a perfume workshop where we made our own perfume. A really cool experience. It was possible in English and took around 2 hours. Afterwards we got a guided tour through the factory. Afterwards you can of course buy all the products.
Visited the Fragonard factory and had a guided tour in English. Really interesting information about the history of the company and the whole perfume making process, with plenty of opportunity to smell the component ingredients. See the bottling and soap making operation and get great gifts to take home in the shop at the end of the tour. Tour is free and starts when a guide is available. Free parking on site.
We did the tour and small Parfum workshop for 30€ / 45 min. The tour was very interesting and through the whole manufacturing. And the Parfum making was also quite fun! Recommended 👍
