SCI LE RICHELIEU

On arrival we were welcomed and shown to our rooms and they were clean and tasteful decorated. Unfortunately for us the beds were very low and hard, so we did not get the best of sleeps. The parking is very secure and easy to access. There is no on site restaurant so you have to go into the town but this a short distance and there is plenty on offer. The continental breakfast available at the hotel is of good quality but there is not much variety and is expensive for what it is.

Great place warm welcome!

Not the first time I stay here for business purposes but I could easily do the same for pleasure!|What a lovely place, very comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts aswell as home made dinner meals that you can purchase and warm up and in the kitchen if you can’t be bothered with restaurants. The pool is also lovely and above all, the hostess/owner is very welcoming and attentive to all needs. |Unless fully booked, I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else. Thank you for another delightful stay!

Stayed one night on walking tour on half board. Room was huge in what appeared to be the old carriage house of the manor compound. Beds were the most comfortable I can remember in about 8!trips to France. Bathroom was also large, modern and well appointed. The hostess was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. There was always coffee, fresh fruit and bake snacks available in the breakfast room and breakfast itself offered a wide variety and all well prepared. Our dinner was catered and was nonetheless very good. Would I stay here again? Of course.

The property was very easy to find and a conveniently short distance from the AutoRoute. We were met by the delightful proprietor a most attractive woman with impeccable English. We were shewn to our room and given a comprehensive explanation on places to eat in the town.||Our room was large and airy and the bed comfortable. There was an en suite shower and hand basin. My sole criticism is that the lavatory has a curtain in lieu (no pun intended) of a door||Breakfast was served in a conservatory and was very generous and well presented.||All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Very friendly welcome and it just got better after that. Provided you don’t mind the open plan, and we didn’t, the rooms are superb a mixture of modern and traditional. Great air conditioning and unlimited tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Lovely breakfast and a great swimming pool. This place has everything.

My main complaint was the host what a horrible man |On arrival he told us the tea ,coffee and biscuits where free to help yourself while you stay . We didn’t have a great nights sleep, the bed was rock hard so we had to sleep on our backs, which is ok but causes some to snore!! I tried to get a cup of tea at 6.45am and the host went berserk,we packed and left immediately |The rooms are functional and clean but not comfortable and no door on bathroom .also the stairs were dangerous, uneven wood and the handrail was stuck in the wall so you couldn’t hold on ( health and safety wouldn’t pass it!)

This small hotel is tucked away and a real delight. It is a rambling creation with off street parking, run by the most helpful charming lady. It is an unusual building and has a great swimming pool necessary when we were there towards the end of June with temps close to 40C. And a lovely fresh French breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, cereals, croissant - plain and chocolate - breads etc and so reasonably priced .
