Our lack of French was a worry to us at first but being able to deal with her, an English speaking member of staff, made the whole process a lot easier. The Agence recently dealt with a property sale on our behalf and went over and above what was expected. We were unable to visit France to deal with a number of matters which they kindly attended to on our behalf. They also helped with the appointment of the Notaire and recommended an FX firm to enable us to obtain a preferential exchange rate when converting the sale proceeds to Sterling.
