SCI LE CHAMAILLARD

Exceptional traditional french country retreat!! This house was everything we had hoped for and more. It's perfectly situated in a charming rural village, with both Chinon and Richelieu just a short drive away. The large front garden provided plenty of space for our children to run around and play, while the sheltered, secure swimming pool in the enclosed rear garden was ideal for them to swim safely and enjoy hours of fun. Inside, the house feels like a true family home (which it is). It was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well equipped, with everything we needed to keep four young children entertained, even on the occasional rainy day. We couldn't recommend it highly enough and would happily return.

Wonderful tranquil holiday destination We arrived to a most friendly welcome from the owners. The accommodation is in a former presbytery within a wonderful tranquil setting of huge gardens and private off road parking secure behind electric gates. A fully fitted kitchen with full utensils and electric gadgets and a huge pantry. Nice and clean and well kept. The facilities were excellent, beautiful pool, table tennis, hammock, trampoline and indoors table football and billiards. Lovely comfy beds and plenty of hot water. Quite a lot of stone stairs so not ideal for anybody with walking issues. A great place for a relaxing holiday, highly recommended.

Great house Great stay at this beautiful house. Even when its not the best weather, there is no wind next to the pool, so kids could play. The garden is also great, the open area, ... a great place to relax. We travelled with 7 adults, 2 small kids and a baby. The house was spacious and the beds were good.
