SCI HOTEL TAMARIS

We spent 8 days at this wonderful place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The whole facility is very clean and airy. The walk to St. Clair beach is less than a minute.The view of the Mediterranean from our balcony was beautiful day and night. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was optional and very good. It was served indoors or outdoors in the garden or in your room.The best part of Hotel Tamaris was the friendliness of the owner and staff. We will definitely come back here in the future.

We were revisiting St Clair after 40-odd years and found this lovely little place, just 100yds from the St Clair sands. The room was modern and comfortable - perhaps a little cramped, but there was a large balcony with table, chairs and a sun-lounger. No restaurant, but there are a number within minutes offering a range for food at a range of prices. Breakfast was so informal, in the garden/terrace and although simple it was brought to the table and perfectly adequate. The staff were lovely and so helpful - we loved our stay....and will go again. We were there in June and I guess the area might be more crowded in July and August, but the hotel is set well back and relatively secluded. A real bonus was the parking.

This hotel is just right to the beach of le lavandou. We had a sunny and wonderful weekend of mid Sept in this place. The hotel has not been renewed recently but it's anyway clean and with all conforts. The owners are nice people that helped us during our stay to find places around we wanted to explore. Suggested!

Nice Hotel, a little on the tired looking side, but very adequate for your needs. Fantastic location just yards from beach. Staff very polite and helpful. Would recommend. Good value.

We were looking for one night near the beach on our way across Provence and not really wanting too busy, and with a car park , tamaris is in the next bay from le Lavandou proper, with a great little cliff walk into the main area. With one way streets, it's a bit difficult to get at ( need to go past beach on st tropez road, and come back on esplanade, it's behind the eponymously named restaurant , and fifty meters from beach.rooms were clean and larger and we had a 2 nd floor room which looked at the beach from a good veranda. Very helpful staff||
