Best baguette in Mention, and the croissants and pains au chocolat are as good as any we've tried -- and we have tried a lot. Nice people, convenient hours. Definitely our favorite bakery! Ask for a baguette "bien cuit" for a crispier crust.

The service was not great, the selling lady was touching/ showing the products with her long nails which was not agréable at all ! I have asked for one chausson au pomme but after I paid I discovered there were two. I asked to reheat my pie ( we bought three parts of different pies ) but they were still cold after 3 minutes of waiting. We spent 25 euros in this bakery but the experience was very poor. Need an attention for an owner. 👎🏻

The most delicious pain au chocolate. You can tell how popular they are by the long queues and amount of locals! If you go early, there is a huge variety of breads, pastries, quiches and tarts. I noticed the locals particularly favoured the baguettes. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They use a machine for cashiering which was a relief for me who had large notes which I felt embarrassed to ask change for 🤭 After grabbing pastries, take a 5min walk towards the sea and enjoy your pastry on one of the large & comfortable benches~

Great baguette, great croissant, tasty sandwiches. Service is great. The lady will smile, and the man will not. Who cares though.. good eats.

I visited yesterday and had an absolutely amazing time! There was a lovely young man who served me, the service was very quick and friendly. I would definitely come back :)

Never disappointed. Great selection. Always eager to try their different breads. Their pain fermier (sliced) was great for toast but was discontinued. Staff was friendly and efficient. The money machine took some getting used to. I would buy a couple of loaves to bring back to Canada. No travel last year or this year due to Covid. I hope La Modone is surviving okay.

The best baguettes around. Great service, fresh baguettes regularly imported. Great choice. I have never eaten better baguettes. I always like to go back there
