Our stay at Camping Marina d’Erba Rossa was overall ok, especially because of the beautiful surrounding area. The nearby town, the beach, and the mountains for hiking and climbing made the location very enjoyable and were highlights of the trip. However, there were several organisational aspects of the campsite and booking process that could be improved. During our stay, the entertainment schedule changed frequently, sometimes at very short notice and without clear communication. On one occasion, we returned early from an outing so our children could attend the kids disco at the scheduled time, only to be informed shortly afterwards that the timing had spontaneously been changed. This seemed to affect several families and made planning activities difficult. Communication at reception was also somewhat inconsistent. When asking for information regarding local activities, we were advised to walk around the pool area and look for someone from the entertainment team directly, although there was in fact a dedicated activities office on-site with the relevant information available. There were also some avoidable organisational issues at the snack bar, where ordering food involved being redirected between the bar and snack area multiple times before staff clarified where orders should be placed. The spa facilities were additionally inaccessible without prior booking, which was not clearly communicated in advance. At arrival, our bungalow was also missing bedding and towels. We had to request them separately, and despite mentioning this specifically during the booking process, it took until the evening before fresh towels and bedding were finally delivered. It was also noticeable that many staff members spoke only limited English. While this is understandable in France and not necessarily a complaint, it did make communication more challenging at times for international guests. The main unresolved issue concerns our bungalow placement through Homair. Originally, we
Splash park/ pool are only open for half the day (10-12 then 15:00 - 19:00). They are supposed to serve 800 rentals (so perhaps 3,000 people). As a result they are dangerously overcrowded. Only a matter of time before there is an accident. Avoid
Had a fantastic week here. Our young daughter loved the place, particularly the pools, beach and playgrounds. All the staff were really friendly and helpful from a fast check in and easy check out. Air conditioning didn't work on arrival, this was fixed within 15 mins of notifying reception. Stayed in a mobile home with Eurocamp which was simple but comfortable and well stocked with kitchen equipment, good beds and good shower. The site as a whole was easy to navigate and well looked after. On site restaurant was also great, nice pizzas and friendly staff
The campsite does not live up to its 4-star rating (2022). Some accommodations, especially those located inside the property, are outdated and not properly cleaned. The pools are too small for the number of guests and not always well maintained. Around the grounds you can find abandoned structures (possibly old restrooms), little shade, poor lighting in the pathways, and an overall dusty and neglected feel. Facilities such as the mini golf look abandoned rather than functional. Overall, the place needs serious renovation and better daily management. At present, it doesn’t match the quality one would expect from a 4-star campsite.
Not what we were expecting. Arrived 5 minutes before reception closed for lunch, out of 4 staff only 1 young lady prepared to assist me, others ignored me. Pitches were OK but pool was so crowded and only one area of shade which had all the sun beds taken.
~60€ per night 2 person and a van Wifi is 5€/30 minutes Toilets lack toilet seats, you are supposed to directly sit on the porcelain or squat Personal was very friendly and helpful but for this price we expect some more comfort. Camping in the north or south with the same infrastructure costs less than half what they charge there Beach is exceptionally full with peoples towels being in arms reach. Very crowded and uncomfortable we left after a day 2 pools available, great for kids if you don’t have any you wont stay there, no shadow and very loud due to children playing Nice for families for sure nothing for us seeking nature and the real Corsica.
Hi, Please have in mind that when you visit this place, you may be "welcomed" at reception by a gentleman who doesn't care about customers (friendly and customer orientated attitude are not here). I asked what is the way to access wifi on site?...the answer was very abrupt: "you need to pay for that. Welcome to Corsica," On the advert description for this location, it says...it is Free. Furniture wise - old and rusty. The site really suffers in logically way of finding your caravan, no guidance in place (actually, there are, in a few places, some small prints of the site map even that you need to be really lucky to find where you are - no markings). Going over all these ... I fund the place ...peaceful . Hope, my experience you will find it useful.
Beautiful camping. Great swimming pools. We were happy to still be able to rent an accommodation although we only got to booking fairly late in the season. We rented a Mobil Home Classic. Turned out that "Classic" meant old and located at the perifery of the camping ;) Truth be told, this was the cheapest option. But, everything worked fine and we had a good time. Room for improvement: provide more shade around the swimming pools. For some reason umbrellas were banned and shade from trees or other objects was very scarce. In my view, providing enough shade is a matter of public health.
