SCI LE CAFO

My first stop soon as I landed in Guadeloupe. Wasn’t disappointed. It had customers patiently seated and awaiting service which began at 6:30pm. But it took us nearly 2hrs to have our main. The wine came 30mins later and the starter, I vet an hour later. The food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor but it seems they’re struggling for staff. I recommend this place at least once while you’re here.

Dont come here if youre expecting food at any decent rate. You will go hungry. Awful service.. couldn’t even bother to bring us a bottle of water that we ordered... that we reminded the waitress three times. It came out about 1.5hrs after we sat down. Extremely slow and pathetic service... even mother Teresa wouldn't be able to put up with this. Yes they have tablets, but they're not for order submissions. This place is transcribing all their orders on paper and that's a very likely contributor to its garbage service. Don't waste your time with this place, its not worth the money or the extremely long wait.

We came as a walk in this evening and we left 100 percent satisfied with the flavour and freshness of our meals. 10/10 recommend coming for dinner! The atmosphere was nice, parking easily available on the street and a variety of dishes on the menu. I should advise that service is super slow though so I would not come here if you’re hangry.

The bad:The wait time is unacceptable. Plan for at least 45min to 1 hour. Roaches frequent the floor of the eating area. Staff attribute this to the restaurant next door being closed down, still unacceptable. The good: The food is outstanding, for some I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Friendly service.

Like others have said, the food is just excellent, It is not only well prepared but also beautifully served. However, the service has two problems: 1) It is very slow, we waited about 45 minutes for our lunch and 2) The wait staff just seems to forget about you. I had to chase them down (twice!) to pay the bill.

Excellent staff and kitchen. Delicious local recipes with generous servings and reasonable prices. While they only have 1 vegetarian option on the menu, on 2 occasions they invented other excellent vegan dishes for my wife. Service is not the fastest but its worth the wait.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and good service. They just lost one star because they forgot us a little bit due to a full house, hence only one star lost 😉 Thanks for the great meal from your neighbors in Sint Maarten

The wait its worth ! Small restaurant owned by a lovely couple .. the food its a mix between creole/caribean and french, my man and me we visited 5 times in 10 days we spend in le gossier .. dont missed ❤🌺
