It was my first dining experience in Castres. It was okay. I treated my new friend and her husband who have been good to me since I met them shortly after arriving. Interestingly, my friends found it complicated as the restaurant had different menus. One menu allowed choices made for starter, main and dessert. While another menu did now allow for choice... The hostess explained. It became clear to me... But my guests and friends remained unclear. After more time with the menu, the hostess returned to our table to explain again. My friend's husband and I ordered from the menu which was 38€ each for 3 courses. But my friend only wanted the appetizer and cheese course from the menu which ended up being 33€. I definitely feel the main course of the cod was worth more than 5€... I hope my friends had a nice experience. As that was my intent. As for me it was a learning oppurtunity... My favorite course was the cheese course. I chose cheese instead of dessert.

Fabulous set lunch, and we shared an excellent bottle of reasonably priced wine. Fair price, lovely staff. Each course was a performance. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful food beautifully presented. Polite and knowledgeable waiting staff, friendly management creating a lovely evening.

Good food, good wine and atmosphere. Cozy environment.
