Liked: Large pitches. Friendly staff willing to help. Clean toilet facilities. Disliked: Only one adult toilet available for the whole site.

2 night stay in 2 bedroom mobile home. Campsite staff very helpful, with 1 person speaking english. Mobile home absolutely spotlessly clean, with very comfortable double bed. Campsite is very quiet with good privacy between units. Didn't use the site facilities as we dined out. Would definitely use this site again.

Liked: We stayed here in late September 2025. We liked that the place was practically empty. The pool looked nice but we didn't try it.

This is a spotless, tranquil campsite with good ameneties and friendly English speaking staff. The swimming pool was lovely but the near by beaches were more of a draw for the children. The only negative comment is that they really need a second toilet block.. It was a bit far from the actual camping area, and the little shop was rather expensive. The on site cafe we would have used but it never seemed to be open when we wanted anything. The pitches are shady and large and the site and well lit at night. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this site.

We stayed at this site for the first time over Ascension weekend. We were pleasantly surprised by how relaxed and clean it is. Ideal base for the beach, zoo etc. |Modern, clean, toilet block and washing facilities. We had asked for a large pitch which was in the shade under trees, very welcome as the weather was hot. Need to take anti mosquito spray though! |We were able to borrow a electric Bbq from reception so could cook at the tent on one night but there are lots of restaurants to try if you want to eat out.||Our pitch was furthest away from the toilets block - maybe one toilet near the camping area would be helpful, especially if you need the loo at night..but just a thought. ||Very friendly staff especially Jessica who spoke excellent English. She offered lots of help and gave useful restaurant recommendations on our first night.|Clean pool area with sunbeds. The children happily swam for hours. Not much shade around the pool- perhaps a couple of umbrellas would be good just to escape the sun.||All in all a great break and I highly recommend this site to anyone visiting Royan.

We wanted a small site with enough for an 8 year old to enjoy.||So much that she wants to go again next year!||A few miles to excellent beaches but no need to go because site has an excellent pool. Plus other activities to engage early teens and the more younger.....kids club.||The staff are superb. Frank is brilliant.....any problem and he is on the ball immediately.||Converted bus serves drinks and meals.||You can prebook bread etc for collection at reception.||Many different types of accommodation bookable.

What a nice little camp site. We only stayed for one night as a stop over but would happily stay for longer. The cabins and site were very clean and new looking. Plenty of stuff for the kids to do - pool, playground, easy for cycling and a short car ride to the beach. ||||The owner was very sweet and pleased to hear that we had found him, he even walked over to our car to say goodbye to each of us as we left!||||I would recommend picking a two room cabin if there is more than two of you as it would be a pain to move the kitchen table to put the bed up each night for a longer stay.

Stayed here for 7 nights from 19th July 2013 and what a gem. The owner/manager Frank gave us a great welcome and upgraded us to a larger pitch as it was unoccupied. Massive size pitch made our tent look lost on it. Lovely quiet site immaculately clean all round including the shower/toilet block. 10 min drive into Royan so very handy. The night before we were due to leave Frank toured all the tents and advised of a severe storm warning for that night. As we were leaving the next morning anyway we decided o pack up that night and find a hotel. We explaining this to Frank he wouldn't hear of us paying extra for a hotel and gave us one of the chalets to stay in. This gesture summed up the whole running of the site. Highly recommended!!
