Sardines to start which were lovely and beautifully presented. The fish soup to follow was again, nicely presented, but just okay and though tasting fishy did not seem to contain any discernible pieces of fish. (Maybe this was as intended) My main reason for marking down was that I wasn’t made to feel that welcome by the waiter. Just my opinion, but I don’t think I looked or sounded right to him. 🤷‍♂️ The atmosphere inside sounded and looked good from my seat on the pavement.

Great seafood restaurant 10min walk from the harbour. The food is amazing with a large selection of fresh seafood and variety of size of 'plateau de fruits de mer'. The atmosphere is rustic and you feel really confortable. If you want to enjoy a great moment outside the busy touristic place, and taste some of the best seafood, this is the place. Remember to book in advance.

A superb lunch experience. Though we did not book a seating for us, the extremely hospitable servers managed to slot us in as we arrived just after the restaurant opened for lunch. Every dish was fresh and cooked to perfection.. 200% recommend this restaurant! Fantastic!

We came for the seafood and we’ll return for it again! Outside on a not so sunny day but the place is worth every star! Nice waiters explaining and pairing local wines. Nice detail, you can take-out too. Started off with a share of mackrel rilette. Yummy. Oisters, prawn and bigorneux. Sauces and vinaigre. Finished the evening with a nice cheese platter and a local red. Great place to enjoy seafoon in La Rochelle while NOT having to cope with loads of tourists. Want to start the evening nice? Across the street is a really great wine bar. Full of locals. That’s where it happens

Amazing meal and fantastic service and nice that they provided a menu in English. Authentic French seafood not over dressed but fresh from the sea. We enjoyed a good bottle of Savignon Bblanc, oysters crab claw, laungostine and giant prawns. Very good value for money for premium sea food in a great atmosphere. A great choice

I’m a very selective person for food ! It is no exaggeration to say since eating oysters here, I've been addicted. The theme of the restaurant decoration is "Seaside Fishing"（vivier）, and the atmosphere is immersive！

Love this place! I picked it after researching all sorts of seafood restaurants and was not disappointed. Generous portions and everything was so fresh. Get both the charcuterie and a seafood platter- amazing!
