A lovely little hotel and restaurant hidden in a small valley along the hiking route. After a walk through the mountains, arriving here feels like a reward. The views of the lake and surrounding hills are beautiful, and the whole place has a very relaxing atmosphere. Enjoying a good meal here with the mountain and lake scenery around you is simply wonderful. A perfect stop during a hike.

This place in winter is magical. After a cold walk or ski (our group was split in two), we enjoyed the best lunch — the rösti alone is reason enough to make the sometimes challenging journey here. Be careful not to leave too late if you’re skiing, as the lifts down to the valley stop running around 16:00. I personally prefer this spot in winter rather than summer: it gets far too crowded in summer, which takes away some of the magic (although I’m sure the rösti tastes just as good 😉).

Outstanding food made with love and served by a delightful staff. A special, relatively hidden place.

After a short train ride and a walk, you arrive at the lake that offers a beautiful landscape, the restaurant overlooks the lake, the menu is expensive even for Switzerland, especially considering the slow service and the huge ego and arrogance of the blond-haired waiter. In a restaurant with airs of grandeur but that welcomes you with plastic tablecloths, a little courtesy is absolutely necessary. Kitchen lady out of place yelling pif the service, incorrect charge signature initially, too much stress to appreciate the cuisine, customer on lower plane, I do not recommend.

I've been here twice the last 6 months, the experience in autumn was awesome, sitting on the terrace to eat 'la chasse'. Winter is magical as well, but a bit crammed inside. On both occasions the food has been sublime. The service has also been awesome. Will keep going. In winter time you should make a reservation.

Busy and very good buvette serving great menu. Little walk if you drive up. Beware steep narrow roads surrounded by stunning landscapes well worth a trip!

A little piece of paradise in the wallis Alps. The lake is beautiful in the summer like in the winter. The meals -most of them are home made- are delicious. You can find aside the traditional fondue, more creative invention of the chef. The staff is friendly. Briefly, do not hesitate !

This cozy and typical Swiss restaurant offers a good variety of foods and vines. Each dish is freshly prepared and well presented. The staff is very friendly and quick in the service. The food taste amazing. We'll be coming back.
