We didn’t use the toilets, just the electricity and water. The place is great. You have bush separation between parcels and a beautiful landscape of forest. Reception staff is very kind. Hiking options are very good and a great bakery with shop in the town

It's a great location, the lake is perfect for swimming and also sandy shallow area good for family. Walks and cycling directly from site fantastic. Restaurant and bakery / shop in village both great. Facilities clean and sufficient in peak season. Many pitches are permanent, camping pitches mixed amongst them may be cramped for manoeuvring. Most have shade but not guaranteed. Didn't use the pool as lake so good but it looked fine. Not too noisy at night apart from the owl!

Great location and the chalets are useful. Things to note for visiting: You need to bring your own toilet roll, cleaning products, towels and hand soap etc. Cleaning is done by the previous guests and is not included. The pool was empty - even though is was early September and 30 degrees + There are sometimes parties with very loud music until the early hours of the morning.

Nice area and location. Lots of nice hiking trails. ||The chalets are not so big but ok. Nice but old.||There should be a smoke detector and mosquito nets in front of the windows to make it more comfortable and safe.||The swimmingpool is not attended by a lifeguard anymore. That is a pitty.||Because the cleaning of the pool and maintanance does'nt look good.||In the past it was possible to use the private bathroom for the quest of the chalets.||Would be nice if this comes back again as a service.||The deposit op 250€ is some how to much if you consider the basic appliance of the chalet.||Allthough there is a lot of poor maitanance, i would recomend the place for the charme and nice location and friendly, helpfull personel. ||With regards, from Holland.||

We were first given #203 which was surrounded by shacks (shanty town feel) and no views. The following morning we asked to move to the pitches at the other side (367) which was much nicer. We ended up staying 9 nights and really enjoyed our morning walks to the Boulanger and Butchers, swims in the lake and pool and walks/bikes in the area. The restaurant at the campsite is not worth a visit but there’s eateries close by that are worth going to!

Lovely site we visited on a French German Dutch road trip. Lovely location with a small lake and beach area suitable for swimming SUP dinghies etc. the site is clean and orderly and the hedged emplacements are of a good size and offer privacy. |The site was very family orientated and busy but not chaotic. In the village there is an awesome Boulanger that deceptively sells everything.

Stayed here two nights at the end of all the summer holidays so don't know how this place would be when it's summer. It's an ok place to stay for two nights however not very inspiring. It's mainly a campground for people who stay there the whole season. So they built their own places with wood and plastic covers. The few camping spots are neat. Toilet building is clean. Nice surrounding area!

We had a wonderful time at Ramstein Plage from the moment we arrived! The staff was friendly and helpful, and fluent in French, German, and English. The campsite was very near and orderly—especially the sanitary facilities. I read so many reviews about other campsites with disgusting WCs, but Ramstein Plage was very well maintained. The lake had some beach/sandy areas and the grounds surrounding it had several grills for barbecues. The outdoor pool was a bit crowded, but everyone shared the pool and it was quite hot that day, so I expected the pool to be in high demand. The only area of disappointment was the recycling bins were overflowing, so it was difficult to manage waste during our one-night stay. We are novice campers, but make sure you bring your own 10-20 meter cord if you’re tapping into the campground’s power. Also, be sure to bring some form of shade with you as many of the locations are not shaded well. We would not hesitate to visit again and again!
