CHATEAU REMY

Very nice rumdown castle, the kind of place the romantic poets were inspired by. You can feel history through these original walls here more than in restored places! The roof has been secured and you will walk along passageways along the walls as the floors do not exist any more and will be able to see the big fireplaces of each floor and look into the empty well of what once were more living spaces. There is also a video in one of the rooms about the castle and some objects in a glass window.

Under complete renovation, I'm looking forward to seeing how it's progressed on the next visit.

Une visite privé sur reservation dans le cadre des châteaux en fêtes de Dordogne . Lieu remarquable en pleine rénovation et en pleine nature. Peut se visiter aussi pour la journée du patrimoine.

Après l avoir vue i y a une quinzaine d'années que du bonheur de le revoir presque tout refait merci au propriétaire de l avoir restauré

We hadden een rondleiding van degene die het kasteel heeft gekocht , het wordt gerestaureerd momenteel maar we hebben geluk dat net deze week er enkele dagen rondleidingen worden gegeven, was heel interessant om te zien en te horen hoe dit allemaal tot stand komt, we komen over 5 jaar terug om eindresultaat te zien

Passionnante visite du château par son propriétaire. Le souci d’une restauration respectueuse, le goût de la transmission, la foi en son projet fascinent le groupe qui passe deux heures et demie, subjugué ! Merci de nous faire rêver, de ressusciter ce château, de contribuer à enrichir le patrimoine périgourdin !
