One of the biggest advantages of this location is its direct access to the beach, with no roads to cross — which is especially important for pet owners. The fine sandy beach with crystal-clear water, situated on the outskirts of town near a park, offers a wild and peaceful atmosphere in harmony with nature — perfect for relaxing. The hotel’s garden and outdoor terrace are ideal for dining al fresco, providing a pleasant and relaxing environment. I also noticed that the hotel features a swimming pool and a Thalassotherapy spa, which I didn’t get a chance to try this time but plan to explore on my next visit. The breakfast experience was outstanding, with a wide variety of teas in fabric pouches that allow for personalized blends. Fresh eggs, omelets, bacon, French cheeses, assorted jams, fruits, juices, coffee, and a rich selection of French pastry made each morning a true indulgence. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs, and the seagulls added a charming touch to the sunny mornings. The housekeeping team was understanding and accommodating of our special requests, including those of our little feathered family members. There are a few areas that could be improved, such as renovating the rooms and the hallway on the first floor where we stayed. The breakfast menu repeats every two days in the week days, but I didn’t mind because I enjoyed the variety and quality of the dishes, especially the tarts and other treats, which were absolutely delicious. The town, with its numerous beaches and rich natural surroundings, form a beautiful holiday destination — or perhaps I simply had lower expectations. In any case, the experience was memorable, and we are eager to return as soon as possible, possibly in August this year. Thank you for your hospitality and excellent service. I hope these suggestions help further improve the guest experience.

Mixed experience – some disappointments for a "spa hotel"The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.Breakfast was okay, not bad, but nothing special either. The biggest issue for us was the spa. It’s not included in the room price, and even after paying, you can only book limited time slots (10–13 or 15–18). This means if you want to use it both in the morning and evening, you have to pay twice. For a hotel that advertises itself as a spa destination – and with room prices on the higher end for the region – this policy was very disappointing. We initially thought the spa access was included. Also, I found it quite strange that I wasn’t allowed into the pool with a brand new swim short. They said only traditional swimwear (briefs or tight-fitting swimsuits) were allowed for "hygiene reasons," which I don’t really understand. My swim short was completely clean and never worn before.

We had an absolute fabulous time at Mercure Frejus. We received outstanding service from Carole, she went above and beyond our expectations. She did everything to make our stay extraordinarily comfortable. Carole we can't thank you enough. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Positives as follows; Excellent views from the balcony. Rooms very comfortable. Great bathroom and nice shower. Poolside loungers very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Overall nice hotel ambience. Direct access to a beautiful clean beach. Excellent location within frejus. Great nearby location to go for morning jog. I would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Frejus. Thank.you Carole and the team once again for the exceptionally warm service.

One of the lifts was not working, it was also quite a problem.

Pros • Sea views from some rooms • Quiet neighborhood with minimal street noise. • Right beside the Port Fréjus marina for easy walks, cafés, and boat watching. • Calm, low-key common areas; good for a quiet getaway. • Staff interactions were standard/professional. • Good value if you secure a sea-view rate and don’t need many in-room extras. Cons • On-site parking is very limited and was unavailable during our stay. • Street parking around the hotel is complicated, pay-by-hour, and spaces are hard to find. • Elevators are extremely slow; frustrating at check-in/checkout and with luggage. • In-room amenities are minimal; facilities feel spartan with few extras. • Overall value drops once you factor in paid parking and time spent circling for a spot.

Worst customer service in France!! The spa staff are terrible and have zero respect!! I booked massage and spa for 115 Euro/person and when we came to get the treatment the French lady with the curly hair was extremely rude saying that i cannot use the swimming pool in my swimming shorts…huh?? I cannot use a swimming shorts in a swimming pool? She said i need to buy some special shorts for the pool?! Huh?!? Just a way to make extra money.. i tried to understand what she is saying but she cut us off and said “you want or don’t want, we are busy!”… in a very rude way!! No thanks! We definitely don’t want this type of terrible service , so we left!

Amazing hotel. Everything was perfect for us. We traveled there with our 2 kids and everyone was content. The hotel is located 2 minutes from the beach. The hotel provides the guests with towels and beach umbrellas. The hotel pool is very clean and we had a great time there. Everyone was kind. Make sure to reserve the parking when you book because otherwise you will have to park on the street and that can be challenging. We already booked our holiday for 2026 there. Merci Mercure Thalasso.
