Fantastic hotel in a superb location. Around 5 minutes walk from the train station and the beach is around the corner. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and comfortable here. Rooms are spotless and comfortable and there isn't the noise that comes with some hotels. The owners are lovely. There's a lovely terrace where you can have breakfast if you choose, or just sit and relax. I didn't have breakfast, so I couldn't rate it, but it looked good. Would highly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed

Amazing stay, really kind staff and they cleaned our room everyday. Perfect location, good breakfast and really good AC. Have nothing to complain about.

I highly recommend this place. In terms of price-quality is very fair, the staff is friendly (I wish they spoke more English) but overall we had a good experience. Location cannot be better. 2 minutes from the station and 2 minutes from the city center. I recommend visiting Cannes' Beach and the Millionaires Beach in Antibes.

We found this hotel by foot. We were lucky and thankful to get a room here (escaping our nightmare hotel previously booked) at the last minute during the Cannes Film Festival while most other hotels were filled up. ||The owners don't speak much English, but with my poor French and a lot of miming we managed. They did have a young girl at front desk to help with check out and payment during the day. But at night, you're basically on your own. That became painfully clear on the rainy night we had to get into Cannes for a gala screening and we found out the hard way that you cannot hail a cab in Juan les Pins. If the owners had understood English a bit better or possessed better service skills they could have offered much more information to us when they saw us soaking wet in the lobby looking forlorn and lost whilst all dressed up in our evening gowns. I doubt very much that a 5 star hotel would miss or ignore that very telling scene, yet the owner just turned around, ran away, and hid in the back despite their Mercedes SUV sitting in the front. But they were certainly there waiting when it was time for me to pay! However, again, if we were at a 5 star they would have better and more intuitive service or at least have private transportation available to where we were going. This is the downfall of a lesser star hotel and one you have to accept if you choose to stay there. ||Otherwise, the rooms were provencal style but very comfortable and looked out on beautiful orange trees with the fragrance of lilac bushes blowing in. The wifi was excellent, the breakfast okay, and the cleanliness good. I suggest bringing your own toiletries as the shampoo is quite drying and there is no conditioner or lotion. But there is a fridge if you'd like to bring in snacks for yourself - a good idea since there is no restaurant in the hotel. ||I would recommend this hotel for leisure but not for business.

This is a vintage two-star hotel, renovated by adding internal bathrooms to the rooms. This makes for rooms that are comfortable, but very small. The service is very minimal and the price is average, given also that the breakfast (€12 per person) and the parking (€12 per day) are not included in the room price. The position, however, is great as it is really near to the seafront (though without a view on it) and conveniently located in Juan-les-Pins, that is very central in the Côte d'Azur area, so very convenient to make also some excursions in the surrounding Provence region.

Very nice stay in a quiet location. It was very central and near restaurants, shops and the beach. ||The rooms was absolutely fine with all the essentials. The hostess was a nice lady who made our stay very pleasent beside her only speaking french.

i decided to head to antibes after spending a lovely week in barcelona visiting w my cousin. i was a bit worried about my lack of french. however, for the price and location, i thought i would do okay at this particular hotel. after flying into nice, i took bus 250 from the airport to downtown antibes (i confirmed the location of where i needed to be with my bus driver) it was about 5 lovely blocks walking.||||indeed, the couple there spoke primarily french, but was very patient and accommodating w my limited french. they additionally have a staff person who is there i believe friday-sunday who speaks english.||||from the moment of my arrival, on a thursday morning, the french couple at the hotel was very hospitable. they let me barrow a outlet converter to charge my phone during the duration of my trip and just overall made my feel comfortable, happy and taken care of.||||the room was SO adorable! wifi, yes! lovely white linens, comfy pillows and bed, great blue and white wall paper, dresser, safe, desk, good lighting, lovely little window looking out onto the neighborhood and blue sky, television w channels in french, english and other languages. towels and bathroom toiletries were provided as well. very clean. the cleaning woman i encountered was also accommodating esp on days when i wanted to sleep in :)||i really loved this place, the welcoming feeling and that it was removed enough from the main antibes tourist bustle, but only 20minutes walking distance from it, la plage de gravette, la marche provencal and 10 minute walk to the ocean :)||lastly, on my last day, i asked if i could leave my backpack at the hotel even thought i was checking out that morning; i didnt have to be at airport until 7pm. they stored my backpack and i was able to do my last minute purchases of souvenirs and enjoy my last day. they allowed me to do this at no charge. thank you for a great first time in europe, france and lovely aguablue antibes :)

This hotel is not only very charming, it is practically located just a couple of minutes away from Juan les pins train station. I came for Mipim in Cannes, where all the hotels are very expensive during the event, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my stay at La Marjolaine. ||||The owners do not speak English, but their effort and service was impeccable. At 7,50 Euros, the breakfast is very reasonable (and plentiful by French standards). The room was not newly decorated, but well kept with a nice Provencal feel. Cleaning was spotless, wifi was flawless and the bed was very comfortable. No elevator though, if that is a concern.||||It is VERY hard to believe that this is just a two star hotel. Fully recommended!
