Wonderful place to visit. You can find lots of stones of different colors and dimensions here. You can enjoy the time by playing stone skipping.

A beautiful setting right by the beach, with a stunning natural atmosphere that immediately makes the place special. The proximity to the sea adds a real sense of calm and space, especially with the wide beach and open views. Nearby, you’ll also find Fort Vauban, which gives the area an extra historical charm. Unfortunately, we were there in December, and the fort was closed, which was a bit disappointing. Still, even from the outside, it’s impressive and adds character to the surroundings. Despite the winter season, the area remains very pleasant and atmospheric, and it’s easy to imagine how lively and vibrant it must be during warmer months. Definitely a place worth returning to in another season to fully enjoy both the beach and the historical site.

I didn’t visit the inside. Just scouted the outside from all directions. The fort is just gorgeous from all angles. The different tides provide a different look to the fort. You can spend hours shooting pictures. It just never gets boring.

Looks amazing, will return to see more, was hungry to get some food - unfortunately with Buzz Fries we’re disappointed. Definitely must see from all directions!

It was really nice to visit though it wasnt very big, but that was expected. It was only 5 euro's to enter and u get a card with info with your preferred language. U do however have to know french if u would like to read the signs, as they were only in french. But we google-translated a lot. The staff and guides were really nice and helpfull with all the questions we had.

Not much to see. A small fort in a small village. Price is 3 euro for adult. Polite and friendly people at the ticket office. Funny hand made posters about mussels and types of ground. Some information about history of fort is given, some about history of wars.

Great to walk around the fort and look at the ocean views.

Beautiful blue sea for swimming, plus a still river inlet for swimming/paddling (obviously popular, but not offputtingly busy). Very stony beach with huge stone shelf (careful, it’s slippy). Incredible sand dunes nearby & fabulous waffle stand on the prom. The fort itself was closed when were there but it is impressive and imposing whilst also being weirdly cute, as it is so round and compact. We definitely would have gone inside if we had been able to. We were very glad we stopped here on the way back to Eurotunnel - would definitely visit again.
