I went to the establishment three times in April 2026 and had a really good time. Please don’t listen to the negative reviews. The staff were fine and the facilities weren’t bad. I liked the really really large hot tub. The price was €15 cash only. I had a good time each night and interacted with a guy from the Ukraine and later a guy from Russia, which I thought was interesting. There was a nice mix of men there, and I enjoyed the place. It seemed clean and well run. If I go back to Nice for future travel, I would definitely go there again.

Old style sauna, little bit dark but good size with all normal facilities. No issues at reception, getting into a sauna is hardly a complex procedure, but try and make the effort, and you can not expect everyone to spleak English. Went Saturday afternoon not very busy but had some fun, mixed ages, younger guys too. Reasonably priced and cash only. Would go again.

The worst "sauna experience" of my life. I can't even understand how certain places can exist nowadays and why the health authorities don't intervene. The sauna is dirty, with bad smells in all the rooms. The condition is dilapidated and lacks maintenance. The only person present from the staff that I saw is an elderly man not very polite, who, when he is at the bar, sits on the counter and rests his feet and shoes on the opposite counter. In the bathrooms and showers sometimes there is no water, there is no soap in the dispensers, there is no paper or disinfectant in the cabins. Obviously, there are also no condoms and lubricant in the relevant dispensers. The only saving grace is the ship-style furniture on the upper floor. As if there were some asset to protect, the sauna is dotted with cameras, but there is no adequate information regarding the related processing of personal data.

Such a cool and hot old-school sauna. Do not pay any attention to the negative reviews here. Best in the afternoon and just remember it’s cash only. Also try speaking French all you anglophones - don’t demand English (this is France) and then get upset when there is a not such a friendly response as a result. 5 very hot and steamy stars!

Nice gay sauna, not the bigger in Nice but probably with the most activity. One floor with jacuzzi and showers, one with saunas and two with rooms. Very polite service at the reception. They accept only cash.

I messaged the page on Facebook I asked them about the price they said 13€ so I went on the same day the guy on the reception was such a rude person and not welcoming at all and very disrespectful. He said 15€ buntly and when I came to pay he said no card payment only cash I said to him sorry I have card so he just walked off I was almost about to go and withdraw money but because of his behaviour I decided to don’t go back such a bad customer service. He lost 15€.

We've been here a couple of times and it's just getting worse every time (in every sense). The crowd is ok, mostly 40+ and friendly. The condition of the sauna is ok at best, slightly unfresh. But the staff is far from friendly. The big guy up front is maybe one of the least talkable and most unintelligent persons we've ever meet at a place like this. I was there yesterday but today they wouldn't let us in because I didn't have ID with me. I'm 30 next year and the guy wouldn't let me in because he thought I was underage. When I tried to talk to him he showed me a behavior that's just not unfriendly but directly rude. I think it's partly because I was there with a man 50+. For him the visitors are just cash-flow and he showed a homophobic act. If you like me get offended by this type of behavior don't visit Les Bains Douches unless you're really desperate. 3 years ago, this sauna was the best in town. Unfortunately, it became a waste of time and money (€13 instead of €10 since January). ***STAFF*** The staff's behaviour is intolerable. Customer always comes... last. You can ask for a drink or a new towel, they will finish hanging the machine or a phone call before -finally- looking at you with contempt, and taking care of you with disregard. You ordered a long black? They gave you an espresso? "No, you said an espresso". That's what they will tell you. And they won't change it. The staff is nearly homophobic sometimes. ***EQUIPMENT*** The spa pool is either too hot (making its use impossible), or too cold (again impossible). When the temperature is ok, the smell of bleach is so strong that you end up with burning eyes (it's really bad, unbearable). If you wanna have fun and need to use a cabin, double check the light (50% of the lights are gone). Of course: no condoms, no lube, no tissue. You need to go to the bar and walk through the whole place with your condoms and your lube if you need some. ***CUSTOMERS*** All the cute and young local guys have deserted this place, the crowd is made of older men (50-70 years old - not exaggerating). During weekdays, you will find something like 10 clients if you're lucky (average: 50/60yo, seriously), slightly mode during the weekend, but same clientele. ***MY ADVICE*** If you wanna have a good time, you are barking up the wrong tree. Run away from this place, it became completely obsolete.
