Location Is right downtown. The hotel provides one parking spots inside the facility, closed with a gate. My room (#7) was specially large. One needs to get used to the bathroom not being cooled by an AC. Breakfast is delivered to the room ahead of time. Good enough when you plan a short stay.

We and our daughter stayed in two of the rooms in the old building, rather than a suite. Clean and secure, with friendly staff. We particularly liked the shower, the air conditioning and the fridge. Handy for amenities and restaurants in central Cayenne, but the surrounding area is not photogenic. Two houses being built next door at the moment, with associated powertool noise during weekdays.|

I've spent many weeks at Eclipse being in Cayenne on business at the beginning of this year. I must say, this place is great. The staff is friendly and eager to please. They would serve a special breakfast just for me! The suites are quite large and have everything you need. I felt just like at home! The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood smack downtown. I had a car rental and this place does have safe parking but you can easily walk to anything downtown including many good restaurants. The only thing to know is that if you are planning on using their secured parking ($), rent a compact vehicle

Spent a couple of nights here and would return again. The room was modern and very clean, excellent AC, well covered windows to keep out the morning light. Considering how great a location (close to everything), street noise was surprisingly low compared to what I've experienced elsewhere. The big plus here is that there was an enclosed parking spot (just one), so huge relief over searching for parking. But this is not guaranteed as other guests could take as well. While there was no on-site reception, they were quick to respond to any questions. The only small downside was that they wifi was rather substandard - barely usable.

Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Extremely well located. I have been coming at this establishment twice per year for the past 10 years and I am always pleased. The staff is always happy to help with my restaurant and taxi reservations. Merci Amandine and all of her team.

First of all, my trip to Cayenne and French Guana was very random and spontaneous so I didn’t know what to expect...|But WOW! To be honest it is not much to see or do in Cayenne as a tourist but I loved it a lot much because of the helpful and warm welcome from the staff at Eclipse! Clean and spacious rooms and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Wifi worked perfectly fine. I traveled by myself but I think it’s great for both couples and business people. Good breakfast (served as roomservice) and great service!!

I've stayed at this establishment and at their sister hotel on the same street a the beginning of this year. For 3 months, I basically lived here for a work assignment. Both places are just great! The staff and owners are completely committed to their customers and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The suites are large and comfortable and the linen is bran new! I love their tropical quilts! I just wish they had more English speaking channels on their satellite TV system. After a few back and forth trips from home, I brought back a gadget that works great: a Dongle Airplay adapter (Amazon), it let me watch my usual home TV programs on the hotel's TV!

A lovely well-appointed new B&B in the middle of Cayenne. Great for tourists or business travellers. It's the sort of place where I would happily have stayed for a couple of weeks when I did that sort of thing for work. ||||I stayed for my first two nights in French Guiana and then rebooked for my last night too (two days are plenty for a tourist in and around Cayenne). The basic rooms are good (though a little dark - wooden shutters and no glass !) but I would recommend the apartments - lighter, with kitchen and outdoor terrace (though of course more expensive). Secure off-street parking available for 3 small cars (though onstreet is just about OK too). Late checkout if you're on an evening flight to Paris OK for a nominal 35 euro.||||Room service breakfast available; plenty of restaurants within walking distance or if you prefer a number will deliver to Eclipse. A few high quality souvenir shops nearby plus plenty of junk. Good strength wifi, few non-French language TV channels. ||||They don't guarantee a 24 hour front desk. ..... so let them know when you're going to arrive to make sure you can get your room straight away when you want it.
