Everything was excellent. The tomato appetizer was flavorful and refreshing. The best dang burger we have ever had. And the veal was so good! Definitely a must try here!
We sat on the terrace for lunch at this busy cafe. We chose the formulae menu 2 or 3 course. The cafe was very busy with large groups having lunch. We chose tuna and avocado tartare. It was fresh and tasty, with a sprinkle of hazelnut adding flavour. For the main we ordered sea bass swerved with risotto and vegetables. Flavours were very good. Steak and potatoes was the second choice. Delicious and potatoes cooked well. For desert we had the raspberry mousse, a sweet fresh taste and homemade. A good selection of wines, beers, soft drinks, coffees etc are available. We chose a glasses of local red and white wine. The white was chilled and crisp. Our waitress was friendly, spoke excellent English. A very enjoyable lunch.
The dining experience at this French restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, the warm hospitality can be felt. Food was great and nothing to complain.
We had an excellent dinner for 7 here. The tomato and burrata salad was fantastic- the fresh cheese and local tomatoes are so good you can’t go wrong. The sea bream was well cooked and flavorful. The desserts were also wonderful- the profiteroles were more than ample to share between 2-3 people. The cocktails were also very good - there is a raspberry beer that was light and refreshing. Our service really made the night. Olivier was a standout- charming and so helpful! He really knew his food and wine and made our evening quite delightful. I’d definitely return- it’s in a great location and was enjoyable.
The salads were superb. My husband had the tomato and mine was melon. With generous topping of burrata. Great people watching. The servers were kind in spite of our poor French.
Had lunch here with wife and it was super tasty! Yum! Ordered the Filet De Dorade Royale and it was the best. It had all kinds of complementary goodness that added so much to my gastro. My wife had the Saint Jacques.
Great food and drinks for moderate prices. Beautifully located at a lively square. We chose this restaurant as it was one of the few serving vegetarian dishes. Super friendly service and definitely a recommendation when spending an evening in Avignon.
We had the veal with mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes. It was one of the best mushroom sauces we've had, and the atmosphere was excellent. The waiters spoke English and an English menu was available. The cicadas didn't like the trees nearby, so we enjoyed a nice break from the chirping. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.
