Great hospitality and atmosphere, fine dining and savoury wines - how not to recommend! We went mid-week for dinner and the best options in my opinion are sharing platters like. A nice selection of wine to accompany. The host is friendly, respectful and accomodating - worth being emphasized as I haven't seen this level often! Prices are average and higher on the wine list but are equal to the quality of the service and food.

So the service and timing was a bit odd....we were just finishing our apperos when all 4 of our main plates arrived and it then took some while to get a glass of wine, although the 2 servers were enthusiastic, they seemed too busy despite not being packed and were uncoordinated between the pair of them. The food was delicious albeit you should eat a salad for one of your other meals to offset the calories! I was expecting more interesting wine choices given the extensive wine carte and as we ordered by the glass on the server's recommendation, but it was fine. Olives or nuts with our aperitifs would have been a good addition. Bread arrived early so oil with balsamic to dip it in would have worked well. The venue is stunning, with a beautiful courtyard out front. You feel like you're stepping into a different world from the street. And it's pretty expensive. €140 for 2. We would go again, but will structure our order differently and perhaps sit inside next time, where it's easier to get the server's attention.

Great decor, great atmosphere, great wine, great food, even better service. I recommend the lamb, it's incredible. Will be going here again.
