L'ABBAYE DE FRANQUEVAUX

We stayed two nights at this place. The welcome was friendly, even we just popped in pretty late on the day. The place is authentic and we felt like in ancient time :) The breakfast was served on a large table in the dining hall which we really enjoyed. A tip for dinner: vis-à-vis is a small restaurant which is fantastic! Thanks and à bientôt!

Beautiful setting, amazing food all sourced locally and very friendly staff. Stumbled upon this place by accident when we came off the motorway on route to Montpellier from Marseille. It's like a postcard setting and although the menu is not extensive all the food is amazing! I cannot speak highly enough of the quality and the only downside was the lack of parking but a small walk should not put you off (the town is beautiful anyway). Simply put... If you are within 50miles of this place you must visit for lunch or dinner.

I ve had the chance to stay there for the past 6 years, tried most "gites" with my family... ||The family who own the place is friendly and very helpful.||Lots to visit in a few miles radius to fill a week easy !

Beautiful quiet place

Super expérience Nous avons reçu un super accueil de Thomas et sa compagne. La piscine est parfaite pour profiter du lieu avec les enfants, le petit bar/epicerie est très pratique. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir lorsque le restaurant de l’abbaye ouvrira.

J'ai eu le privilège de séjourner dans ce gîte pour mes fiançailles avec ma bien-aimée, ce fut un moment mémorable et plein de quiétude, je recommande vivement pour tout les amoureux et passionné de la camargue 😍 Merci Thomas , un hôte en or🧡

Nous avons passé un week-end de l’Ascension formidable dans cet endroit, à l’occasion d’une fête familiale. |Les gîtes sont spacieux et très bien aménagés, la literie est confortable. Un centre de bien être avec Spa complete le lieu.|Petits et grands étaient ravis ! |L’endroit est très calme avec une immense terrasse où les enfants peuvent jouer, avec un accès direct à la piscine et où les grands peuvent faire un barbecue ou se réunir. |Idéalement situé, à une centaine de mètres du canal du Rhône à Sète, où une guinguette nous permet de boire un verre et de nous restaurer simplement en profitant de la nature et des chevaux camarguais. Enfin cet endroit est très central pour visiter la région. Je recommande vivement.

Thomas est un super hôte, l’abbaye est splendide, la piscine est vraiment sympa !! C’était un super week-end entre copines, je n’hésiterai pas à recommander à la famille quand ils viennent dans le Sud ☺️
