Just beautiful. You need to be there very early to park…there is a car park but we saw people double parking which would make it hard to get out. Better to get one of the end spaces on the road. These are still paid we believe, we paid anyway! Charges are expensive but worth it for the beach and view. Water shoes are a must. Beautiful bay for swimming. Steep walk back up.
Easily accessible by bus. A short walk from the bus stop and you already have the most beautiful views known to man. Clear water and a nice place to swim. I recommend going here in March- April or in October-November, because it's not that warm then, but you can still swim. In the summer the heat is unbearable.
Medium sized calanque made out of interesting brown mud and stone. This, along with the prominant Rocher du Capucin hill that looks like a hawk/ dog head, makes for perfect photo ops. beach is busy in the day but fairly quiet in the evening when the sun disappears out of it, with rocks of differing heights to jump off of. Only downside is the pebbly beach gets a sheen of brown on your beach towel! Parking on street is ok, 1 hour for free and free after 8pm.
A fantastic location with the sea just a short walk from your table. Great food and atmosphere. Everything about the evening was amazing until Ben pretty much let everyone down forgot his glasses. This really put a downer on the evening and I imagine it will hang over our whole stay here in the area. To be fair though. This shouldn’t really effect my rating or review as this was not the fault nor did it have anything to do with the restaurant. If only Ben would take more care of his personal property then everything would be ok. The restaurant had the glasses and Ben will pick them up tomorrow. Which is a guess some good news. Also the steak was great.
The service, the food, the location, the place it was all great!! All the people we interact with could speak english (which is not that easy in france) and they were super nice. The place is magic and you have the amazing view of the sea plus you can go to have a swim. Is a place that meet all the things you could need from a restaurant on the coast. Great experience.
Gorgeous place, delicious food, boozy drinks and a view you'll absolutely love! Oh I forgot, spectacular service. You have to come here, and go down to the beach after or before lunch/brunch/dinner.
Nice view, had to book over a day in advance to be seated on the terrace though. Price is reasonable if you order from the menu, but whole fresh fish is available as well (2 or 3p/fish). Although they are a bit pricy, €11/100g, which added up to 45pp. Taste was good, not extraordinary though. Staff was friendly. Finger food while waiting was scarce (had to ask for bread ourselves). All in all: come for the view, book a table and order from the menu.
Very nice scenic and peaceful place to relax and meditate
