An absolute must-visit in Gevrey-Chambertin! This isn't your typical polished, modern tasting room—it’s a deep dive into Burgundian history. We loved exploring the sprawling, self-guided cellar museum (filled with fascinating old equipment and a bit of quirky taxidermy!) before our tasting. ​The wines themselves are bold and traditional. We tasted five different pours, including a couple of excellent Premier Crus. Our host, was fantastic—friendly, unpretentious, and spoke great English.

A fantastic tasting experience at Philippe Leclerc. I explored a great range of both Village and 1er Cru wines that truly represent the power of Gevrey-Chambertin. These are structured, authentic wines built for the long run. The staff was incredibly well-informed and made the session a real pleasure. Highly recommended for any serious Burgundy lover!

Very good experience, we got to taste finest red wines in the burgundy region. We were very welcomed and had a really good time.

Excellent wine cave, fascinating interior and their friendly knowledgeable team made the wine tasting enjoyable and interesting. We will definitely be back next year.

I really enjoyed the wine tasting. The wines were top quality.

Unfortunately, this is because we didn’t have enough time, we didn’t stay here to test the wine. But we went down to the basement and this is a real treasure room. If you're here, be sure to at least go down to the basement and you won't be disappointed.

The 10 euro tasting is well worthwhile -- they make some great wines and we bought a few bottles to take home. The staff are friendly and take the time to explain the vineyards and terroir. The cellar is also well worth seeing -- it's a trip with all the taxidermy down there.

We enjoyed the wine tasting very much. Damien was very friendly and patient, he gave us a very through and interesting explanation about the area, the wine production in general and the specific 6 different wines we've tasted. We ended up buying some fine wine. Thank you!
