Visited the Statue de Jeanne Hachette and had a wonderful experience. The monument is impressive and holds significant historical importance, celebrating a key figure in the city’s heritage. I especially appreciated the detail of the sculpture, its strong symbolic presence, and the lively setting around it. It is a meaningful landmark that reflects the history and identity of Beauvais. Overall, a memorable and worthwhile stop while exploring the city. Recommended.

Statue dedicated to Beauvais’ heroine who is known for her alleged bravery in defense of the town of Beauvais in 1472. The statue is located in the main square where you will also find the town hall.

Very nice square in centre of Beauvais. Well worth a look at the town if you are in the area. The statue is very well done with a good story behind it.

Lovely open air area in beauvis plenty of cafe and pubs in area I visit here quite often and always enjoy our stay

Kocham moją Amelkę❤💚💛💙🦋 Opisuje tutaj nie tylko pomnik ale także ładny duży plac i ratusz w tym mieście, jest tu też karuzela a także zaplecze gastronomiczne. Pogoda trochę słaba ale styczeń więc🤣 może czasem tak być.

Jeanne Hachette, l’héroïne de Beauvais. Cette belle statue de bronze, œuvre de Vital Gabriel Dubray, sculpteur français, trône fièrement sur son piédestal face à l’hôtel de ville. Elle représente Jeanne Hachette armée d'une francisque dans une position combattante. Elle est inaugurée en 1851, en présence du prince Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte, président de la IIe République. En dehors de son exploit lors du siège de Beauvais en 1472, peu de choses sont connues à son sujet. Mais Jeanne Hachette reste, sans contexte, un symbole fort avec de nombreux hommages à travers la ville de Beauvais.
