Great location to access a wide variety of restaurants and, of course, getting to the Sanctuary, but it is bare bones lodging. Our room had a small kitchen sink and 2 burner electric stove with not much horizontal space for anything else. It had 2 electrical sockets located on the wall closest to the entrance, with no nearby table to place whatever was plugged into the socket. Despite small quirks like that, all the staff were helpful and friendly, which made the stay pleasant.

Having read the previous reviews, we knew not to expect much. Rooms are indeed a bit dated but it was clean. We brought our own hairdryer (there wasn't one in our bathroom), washing up liquid and sponge (these were actually provided but the sponge looked old and well used), towels (the ones provided were acceptable actually), toiletries (a soup and 2 packs of body and hair wash were provided). We got upgraded to a triple room with one single and one double bed which was quiet. The basic kitchenette with a kettle, fridge and microwave were very useful for us making tea and coffee (we brought our own, none provided). They provide plates, cups and cutlery. The very friendly reception lady waited for us as we checked in after normal hours of 6pm. They also gave us late check out at 2pm so we could store our luggage in the room freshen up after a last visit to the sanctuary before departing for the airport. Location is unbeatable as it's close to the sanctuary, cafes and restaurants. The airport shuttle stop is only a 2 minutes walk. For the price it was exactly what we needed, would be very happy to stay here again.

Rooms with small kitchen, it's very good. Like small studio. Small fridge, water cooker, electric cooker and microwave. Have to do some small updates. Like hair dryer is not working. Some cupboards door are broken. No more room services. Some of bathroom heater are not working. properly. Room centrql heater are not available untill 1st November.

This hotel is made superb by the service. Two ladies on reception are not only efficient, but so helpful, genuine and sincere. They will truly do there best to make the guests stay convenient and comfortable.Location 10/10.Thank you from London.

A very below standard old hotel. Stayed here for 2 nights. The WiFi was mostly down, and at best you could connect at very low speed—don’t expect more than being able to reply to WhatsApp messages. The air conditioning was already weak on the first night and completely stopped working on the second night. The reception desk stated its working hours until 7:00 PM, but when we returned at 6:30 PM, there was no one there. The emergency contact number couldn’t provide any solution other than telling us that there was a malfunction, they had no technician, and it was not their fault. Then whose fault is it? If you only need a place to store your luggage, feel free to book here, but if you actually want to rest, you’d be better off choosing somewhere else. The only advantage is its location close to the sanctuary.

This is a 6 story hotel with an excellent location next to the Gave de Pau river. Very clean bathrooms and their breakfast is good and well worth staying in the hotel instead of eating outside. A portion of the room rate is donated to the sanctuary. We had a pleasant experience and highly recommend this hotel.

Best location. Your are near to best view environment,restaurant, shopping and bus stop for L5 and ultimately walkable to Sanctuary Our Lady of Lourdes.

The location is very central and the front desk staff is friendly and extremely helpful and kind. Room 206 has a balcony which overlooks the street and has a lovely view of the river and mountains, and even though it is in a busy location it was very quiet. They have laundry facilities available for a small fee, which we did utilize. Downstairs is a mini mart where we were able to purchase snacks and essentials. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast had a good variety of options. Good water pressure in the shower. We enjoyed our stay very much!
