The facilities are superb. A swimming pool with sun loungers and a tennis court in well maintained grounds with ample car parking. Shamefully, neither I nor my friends are fluent in French, but the lovely reception staff were very patient and helpful. Although there is no bar, drinks are available, and, again, the receptionist will helpfully deliver them to your outside table. Breakfast, as usual, was buffet style. The food, hot and cold, was well presented, delicious, and frequently restocked. The rooms are large and comfortable, with some of those on the ground floor having access via sliding doors to the garden. Beautifully clean. The only caveat is the location. If you want to visit Foix, it's a 30-minute walk each way, and for some reason, there is virtually no local taxi service. Taxi phone numbers were called, but no taxis were available. But that's not the fault of the hotel, hence the 5 star review. I really enjoyed my 5 night stay at the hotel, and I heartily recommend it.

Beautiful Hotel with lovely clean twin rooms and a great size bathroom. Owners are lovely, and very helpful, breakfast was great and affordable with beautiful pastries, cereal and hot food available too. 1km from Foix and walkable by road and path down to the river. Montsegur 30 mins away and a must see. 10/15 min walk to McDonalds and Burger King and an Intermarché supermarket. Great! It has a beautiful pool with sun loungers and chairs to relax.

Welcome friendly and genuine and room perfect for one night.|Everything explained and local map with sights offered along with restaurant recommendations. Not a destination hotel but ideal for one or two nights. Very close to town so quite convenient. Breakfast adequate with plenty of choice.

A pleasant hotel outside town. We booked and paid more for a Superior room with a terrace or balcony but were actually given an ordinary room. When we queried it, the receptionist was very unhelpful and denied it. But she finally admitted that we hadn’t been given the room we’d booked and just tossed a few euros at us for the difference in price. The room was all right for just one night but the floor was very dirty. We had to wipe our feet clean before getting into bed.

Very nice hotel with good breakfast. Quiet and clean. A short distance from town. Nice welcome from staff. Easy parking.

The Hotel is easy to access and is close to the local intermarche and Lidl. If you’re looking for a place that is clean with no frills this is the perfect place. There is a little noise from the road but nothing to worry about. Very peaceful otherwise. Lovely garden to sit in. The pool is lovely and very clean also. We thought the pool was closed but the lovely staff said we could use it and even managed to dig out and clean some sun loungers for us after saying they were packed away from winter. They went over and above our expectations. The customer service is exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile. They were even patient with my terrible french and we muddled through it just nicely. The breakfast is continental. Very nice and enough to set you up for the day. We came away to spend some time as a couple whilst the kids were away doing their own thing. My parents live up the road so we coincided it with a visit to them. Thoroughly recommend. Very close to the town of Foix which is gorgeous and well worth a visit. Thank you very much!

We stayed in this hotel on our way to Andorra. It's within walking distance to the city centre (25 min walk). We were pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. It had a great big bathroom. There was a good variety of food for breakfast (cheese, ham, eggs, pastry). The hotel has a pool which is not very common for a 3 star hotel. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.
