VINAJA FRANCOIS

This was the first wine shop we bit while in town and we found the wine selection as well as the service to be very good. The young lady assisting us was well informed on the wines and provided a free tasting of three wines. She provided some good recommendations based on our feedback on what we enjoy drinking. This was far different than the horrible experience at Reserve Cardinalys which is just a tourist scam based on our visit.

Bought a bottle for €45 and then found out someone else had bought the same bottle for €25 from here two days prior to us. Seems like a bit of a scam to upsell tourists?

Nice, free wine tasting of some beautiful wines! We came in late and off season so we just had the quick tasting but they seemed to have almost every wine in town in stock. Even though we came 10 minutes before closing we were welcome and the guy was friendly. Great if you know what you're looking for or of you want to orient yourself!

We had a last minute wine tasting at the end of the day - Julie was very knowledgeable, took her time to understand what we like and helped us find some fantastic wines. If you're in Chateauneuf-du-Pape and looking for a variety of great wines at reasonable prices, this is the place.

Great place to taste and purchase wine in Chateauneuf. Amazing service by Julie who set up an impromptu degustation for us just before the store was meant to close.

The lady who works here is super rude, showed up 15 minutes late because she had a meeting with her boss and seemed super stressed and agitated. She seemed angry as she “wasn’t used to people waiting outside” and turned away my family of 5 for a tasting even though the place was empty. The tasting was overpriced and her attitude was unacceptable.
