The best bio shop I have ever been to in France! It is clean and cozy and has a big variety of good quality products, both fresh and long-lasting, and not at all expensive. Friendly and visionary owner and employees that are always up for giving advices and recommendations. I can highly recommend this shop! ... don't forget to try their unforgettable delicious sheep cheese and Morvan honey!

Located just a few meters from the built between the twelfth and sixteenth centuries flamboyant gothic church Église Saint-Martin de Clamecy, this hidden gem is a must see neighborhood whole foods store where you can find pretty much anything from a toothpick to a bottle of a good wine. Organic and fresh veggies and fruits like potatoes, carrots, garlic, apples, lemons, kiwi are just to name. Rice, sugar both white and brown, lentils, beans, several kinds of tasty cheese, honey, meat and milk are within a hand reach. The owner and his associate only compliment the friendly local community of the beautiful city of Clamecy. The customer service is impeccable and if you happen not to speak french, the owner's English is very good and he will help you with a smile to chose from a variety of goods of his wonderful store. Although the store sells organic food, we were pleasantly surprised to see very affordable prices which we compared with big local chains like Auchan and Leclerc store located on the outskirts of the village. So when it comes both to pricing and location of the store, La Grainerie is unbeatable. Besides all when we went to Auchan, it's card payment system was down and they accepted only cash. We went to buy groceries at La Graninete and were able to make a payment through POS terminal, and thus we are able to give this store one more credit or star (you name it ). Overall our experience was more than satisfactory and we can definitely recommend this beautiful gem to anyone who lives in or visits Clamecy. By the way, if you happen to visit the store late in the evening (it is open till 19:00 pm), the streets are well lit and the road to the store is of good quality. You may both walk or drive to the location. Bright street lamps and videocameras are here for your security.

Une épicerie bio comme on n’en fait plus ! Produits vraiment qualitatifs, choix varié, mais surtout la nouvelle équipe est formidable. On sent que tout est fait avec soin et sincérité. Mention spéciale au monsieur du magasin, dont l’attention et la bonne humeur transforment chaque visite en moment agréable. Une petite boutique qui rayonne dans ce cœur de ville.

Une boutique bio qui offre des produits de qualité (en mettant l'accent sur les produits locaux) et à des prix très abordables pour une telle qualité. Vous y trouverez de tout, fruits, légumes, vrac, fromages a la coupe, produits frais, épicerie, et même des graines et des cosmétiques. Et si vous ne trouvez pas ce que vous cherchez, on vous le commande. C'est tellement bien qu'on en a oublié le chemin du supermarché. Et cerise sur le gâteau, une très bonne équipe chaleureuse et accueillante qui prendra le temps de vous conseiller. Je recommande très vivement.
