Best place as a student resident. Specially the building G. I spent three years here. I had lake view apartment. Georgia Tech is 5 minutes walking distance.

Très bien je suis parti aujourd'hui et malgré les travaux j'ai eu une excellente expérience pendant 3 mois dans cette résidence. Notamment aujourd'hui où les 2 dames faisant mon état des lieux de sortie ont été extrêmement sympathiques et ont directement remarqué le très bon nettoyage réalisé. Je recommande.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the person in charge of emails and resident relations. After sending her three emails and finally receiving a response confirming my reservation for room B205, I contacted the rental office to schedule my move-in for August 19th (as indicated in the emails sent on July 22nd and August 15th, attached as image 1). Despite my efforts, I received no response. When I showed up at her office in person on August 19th, after arriving in France from the United States, she insisted that she had not received any of my emails and even asked me to leave immediately, ignoring the emails I showed her. This interaction was far from professional or courteous. On August 21st, I returned and signed all the necessary documents, only to be informed later that I would need approval from VISALE before I could move in. Fine, if that’s the rule in France, I was ready to wait. Meanwhile, my university contacted her on my behalf to ask if they could act as a guarantor so that I could move in earlier. To my surprise, the person in charge informed my university that the room had been fully booked and was no longer available for me (see image 2). This was a shock to me, as she claimed to have informed me that I needed to find other accommodation, but she never mentioned this during our previous interactions. I was very surprised because I had confirmed my reservation and signed all the necessary documents during my visit to her office on August 21st (see images 3 and 4), yet my reserved room had been reassigned without prior notice. This experience with the person in charge was both unprofessional and disappointing. It is essential to treat all residents with respect and transparency regardless of their nationality or the length of their stay. I would recommend lafayette technopole if you are from Georgia Tech, this residence hall is nearby and has more professional and approachable staff.
