We arrived the Hotel with our bikes from Freiburg. After 86 km and 800 meter of climbing, the stuff was not that helpful. We need to park our bicycles, but the signs were not clear. We ask for sauna and they didn’t tell us everything clearly. They said you can go for free but then they charge for breakfast. There were little options for breakfast and personally I don’t like it. We enter the sauna to relax after a long ride but it was not hot. Overall experience was not good.

We were very excited to visit this place; however, we were disappointed. The pictures of the cute wooden hotel did not match our experience. Instead, we were given a small, old-fashioned room in a neighboring hotel, with no heating in the bathroom during winter. The hosts didn’t inform us about the sauna’s availability—we had to ask for it ourselves. The dinner was mediocre at best. On the other hand, the breakfast was rich, with a good variety to choose from. Overall, this place is oversold online, but in reality, it does not live up to the expectations.

Our meal was included in the price and was excellent. Staff in the restaurant were very pleasant. The room was very comfortable, Breakfast was very good and we especially enjoyed the freshly-made coffee delivered to our table, rather than the awful self-service machines which do not provide proper cafe au lait. Only disadvantage was that there was no choice as regards to meal provided as part of the price but luckily we liked what we were given.

Nice hotel. Food is ok, though dessert options deserve some reviewing. The road the hotel is located on gets quite busy during weekdays. The outside wellness area is right next to it. Room is very nice and beds are very comfortable. Pool, sauna and jacuzzi are clean and a joy to use.

Nice Hotel for a one night's stopover in France during a recent European road trip. Our room was in a newly built wooden annexe in the hotel gardens - which in themselves were nice with a little brook running through. ||||Spotlessly clean room and the shower is superb. However there were no curtains or blinds at the large picture windows so we had to get ready for bed in the dark. Also the shower room didn't have much in the way of shelving to put things on and there was no full length mirror anywhere in the room. I suggest the owners stay a night here themselves to ascertain where a few improvements need to be made.||||Parking wasn't a problem, there's a large area at the end of the hotel with ample space.||||We ate at the restaurant and the food was truly excellent. Breakfast wasn't included in the room price though so we never ate there, preferring to pick up something up on the move. ||||A really nice hotel that could be a great one if the few issues mentioned were put right.

we booked a family room with half board. upon arrival it was very hot in the room (Very sunny day) and no airconditioning so I asked the manager if he had a room at the north site of the hotel. he understood the problem and said he had a comparable room vacant that was less hot, he mentioned it was a more recent and more expensive room. we were happy with it and checked out after a pleasant stay. here he charged us approximately 50% extra for the room, while I was assuming it was a free upgrade due circumstances as he never mentioned a new price, which I told him. he then reluctantly agreed with paying the original price, saying this was the last time he did anyone any favors. we had a nice stay with an excellent dinner, but left with a guilty feeling. would come again but i don’t think the manager would like to see us again…

Another great find. We loved the drive to this hotel. Ample parking next to the hotel. Lovely welcome though we were quite late and the restaurant was busy. The hotel caters for coach load of guests which is my only reservation as all the guests tend to be in the restaurant at the same time. We were in time for dinner thank goodness and it was delicious. We were in the small building behind the hotel, through the garden with the very picturesque stream. We had a family room which was very spacious, very comfortable and clean, nothing to fault. We put the outside shutter down on the window to give privacy at night and there was a blind on the door. Breakfast was good though we ate after the coach so some things had run out but despite that everything was delicious particularly the bread and orange juice. We didn’t get the opportunity to use the facilities but would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We paid EUR 94 for 2 double rooms in the annex above the pool. We stayed here due to proximity to the Lac Blanc bike park (downhill biking for my teens). The area is a paradise for hikers.||||Lots of plusses...||1.) Good restaurant. Great service.||2.) Nice breakfast. Excellent croissants!||3.) Comfortable, simply furnished and large rooms. Separate toilet and shower rooms. Large flatscreebs. Free and reliable Wifi.||4.) Directly on the hiking path. Great walking in the area in many directions.||||Thank you very much to the staff for their relaxed and friendly attitude...even when my teens made a mess!
