The restaurant offers an excellent selection of great dishes. I tried the snails, a steak, and the dessert trompe l’œil, all of which were very tasty. We also ordered a cheese selection, but for €9 we received only three very small slices of cheese, which felt completely overpriced to me. Aside from that, the food was flavorful and creatively seasoned. The atmosphere and service were outstanding 5/5.

Le Petit Pres is a very nice restaurant located right in the city centre of Angers. The kitchen is open and visible, which gives a clean and reassuring impression. The food quality was excellent. The menu is quite limited (around 5–6 dishes), but everything is very well executed. We ordered a filet de bœuf, veau, and a kids menu (steak haché with French fries), and all dishes were very good. They also offer a solid variety of wines. One thing to note: side dishes are not included and need to be ordered separately. Overall, it was a great experience, but be mindful of the prices — it’s a bit more expensive compared to similar restaurants in Angers.

We had A la Carte dinner in this restaurant on a July evening. Beautiful place, next to the Theater of Anger. The food, wines and service were great! And good value for money too. We highly recommend it, but make sure you reserve it in advance.

The cocktail signature is refreshing and delightful, while the dessert is absolutely delicious. However, the main dish “Paillard de veau” is average in taste and the presentation could use some improvement, as it appears a bit messy. On a positive note, the service is excellent, and I truly enjoy the view on sunny days.

Great dinner and place. In the center of Angers. Great restaurant and great food. We ordered the matured meat and was delicious, we could see that they have quality products. The foie gras was perfectly cooked and the fish was very soft and fresh. We also ordered the salted gauffre that perfectly matched with the meat. The desserts were beautifuly and minutely done. Totally recommend for a lunch or dinner with family or friends. Will definitely come back.

Nice modern French bistrot with a twist. As a main, we ordered the wagyu which was over cooked - we asked for medium rare. However the waiter agreed with us, took it back to the kitchen and brought a new one which was tasty. The intense chocolat was very good. I think it could be shared between 2 people - big portion for just 1.

Located at the heart of Angers, les petits près is highly recommended. The ambiance is really cozy and nice. The customer service is excellent. They are very friendly especially Julien. For the starters we ordered Tomate burrata basilic, Tartare de boeuf au couteau and Poulpe grillé. It was just perfect. As for the main dishes we had Daurade Royale grillée, Entrecôte de boeuf Simmental de Bavière, raci sur carcasse, and Paleron Angus de Castille. The Angus was not quite hot but it was delicious. The main dishes arrived a bit late however the waiter offered us free coffee and some madeleines.
