Absolute magic, but timing is everything! Èze is breathtakingly beautiful, but to truly experience its magic, you must arrive early in the morning. Do not rely on public transport; the buses get incredibly crowded and you might be left waiting. Instead, save yourself the hassle and take an Uber or Bolt from Nice—it costs around €20 and is worth every cent. We arrived around 10:00 AM, and it was already getting busy. By 11:00 AM, the narrow streets were packed, long lines were forming, and it became difficult to even move through the village. Aside from the stunning views, Èze is famous for its rich perfume history. Right at the entrance of the village, you'll find the historic perfume factories of Fragonard and Galimard. The whole area smells incredible, and taking a free tour of the laboratory to see how these luxury French fragrances are made is the perfect escape once the village streets get too crowded. Also, a quick tip for adventure lovers: from the village, you can hike down to the sea via the famous Nietzsche Path (Sentier Nietzsche). It’s a proper hiking trail with stunning views, but it is steep, so you absolutely must wear proper footwear! Highly recommended if you beat the crowds.

Such a beautiful place. There's a bit of an uphill walk to get there, but it's manageable if you take it slow. Visit the garden and take some time to wander through the charming alleyways. A hat and water are recommended.

A cosy little town with a nice mix of coffee shops, art galleries, and souvenir stores. Exploring the whole town can involve quite a bit of uphill walking, so it’s a good idea to take breaks along the way. If you’re visiting on a hot day, carrying some water really helps. The town itself is very charming, and we genuinely enjoyed spending time there.

Really nice place to visit! Worth your while visiting here, even with the hikes that may be quite tiring for some. Do spend the money to enter the garden. You can easily spare 2 hours exploring the area, and maybe more if you want to enjoy some meals or coffee or drinks. Highly recommend if you are near the area.

What a beautiful place to visit. The car ride was a roller coaster in it self driving through the mountains. The Village was really beautiful and offered all you need in terms of food and shopping souvenirs. The view from the top was really spectacular.

Èze Village in southern France is truly one of the most beautiful places in the country. This historic village sits on top of a mountain and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the French Riviera. The old stone buildings, charming architecture, and narrow winding pathways give the village a magical and timeless atmosphere. Walking through the streets feels like stepping back in time. Every corner has beautiful views, small shops, and picturesque spots perfect for photos. If you want to experience classic French Riviera charm and stunning scenery, Èze Village is definitely one of the best places to visit in France.

Beautiful place for sightseeing. if you are on the Côte d'Azur, be sure to visit this small village. You need about half a day to visit it, and it is located between Nice and Monk, so it can be a stopover

Prepare to be transported back in time to medieval France, with this beautifully preserved village which still thrives today. In a time where spirit levels did not exist and hand rails are optional, this village looks like something out of Disneyland, but still hosts dozens of little artisanal shops and bars throughout. Picturesque is an understatement and probably one of the highlights of our trip! There are twisting walkways and staircases everywhere, you can easily get lost. Would definitely recommend! Entry to the village is free, but there is a tropical garden on top which costs to enter.
