Avis
We had such a great experience overall in our first Roland Garros.
It was a surreal experience visiting Court Philippe-Chatrier. Went there as part of the guided stadium tour. Cost 19 EUR. You are allowed to sit in the stands but you cannot touch or step onto the court. Stadium is huge and truly a Grand Slam court
Amazing stadium, atmosphere and the tennis and conditions are of course prestine. All is new and clean. For this court I wouldn’t recommend necessarily the category 3 tickets if you plan on visiting the RG, and also, in my opinion, evening passes are too expensive for just one match (20.15) match start). Also a shame there is no real food or beverages to buy / to consume. I missed the convenience so much when a good match is on and you pay premium. Instead you have to go down and stand in (sometimes) very long lines. (One line for food, another for coffee)….
A simply stunning structure with a fantastic organization capable to manage thousands of persons without major issues. The stadium is fantastic but courtside experience is unnissable
The place and avenue are amazing! I recommend everyone who loves sports, tennis and related activities should go there when they visit Paris, even if there isn't a match. Just see the place, enjoy the view, and appreciate the historical significance.
I went for the stadium tour on a weekend. Our tour guide was late while the guide of other group was all set. Also our guide didn’t explain much while the other group received so many interesting information. The stadium itself is maintained well. You’ll get to see a lot of details. If you’re a tennis fan, you might recollect some great memories of your favourite player.
I just witnessed on TV one of the greatest men's singles matches ever, taking place on this court. Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz faced Italian player Jannik Sinner with two sets down, and destroyed three championship points to put him within reach of the Coupe de la Musketier. Alcaraz finally won three sets in a row and finally won the 2025 Roland Garros Men's Singles Championship. Under such difficult circumstances, this match also made another history. The whole match lasted five sets and entered the final set, a total of 5 hours and 29 minutes, creating the longest final in the history of Roland Garros. This is not only one of the greatest matches in the history of tennis, even if we consider many other sports, at such a high level and at such a high level, this match will definitely be listed as a classic.
one of the best courts in the world atmosphere is intense and view is brilliant from most seats in the lower bowl. (can’t comment on upper tier) cant wait to come back next year. easy to get to and grounds are lovely to walk around. wish there was a better shop like they have at Wimbledon which is like a superstore of all things Wimbledon.
