Don't come!!! This store should be closed! The owner is very unfriendly and aggressive to customers. I walked into this store today just to ask where the wines from Alsace were, and the man who worked there was unbelievably rude. He pointed in the direction of the wines with such an attitude that I already felt unwelcome. While I was quietly checking the currency on my phone, he suddenly yelled at me, accusing me of taking pictures — which I wasn’t even doing! His tone was aggressive and completely unnecessary. I was shocked by how unfriendly he was, so I simply said “thank you” and walked out. As I left, I could still hear him shouting rude words behind me. Later, I looked up this store online and realized I wasn’t the only one — so many people have had the same terrible experience. This shop, located right next to the beautiful cathedral, is an absolute disgrace. It ruins the warm and welcoming image of Colmar. A place like this shouldn’t exist in such a lovely city.

I have no idea where all that bad reviews coming from. We had great experience, although we aren’t the best customers entering with two young kids. Recommendations were very personalised, knowledgeable and professional. We took 4 bottles and we can’t decide which one brought us more joy. The sales was very polite, we had small talk, he talked with us in 3 different languages just for entertainment. Can’t recommend it more to wine lovers.

Walked in to buy local wine. I was able to ask two questions about the selection and immediately was told to leave. It was bizarre, I have never experienced this before.

If you are a fan of Black Books or Fawlty Towers then this is the wine shop for you. Staff are pretty easy to wind up, you only need to be a non-french speaking tourist, try and turn a bottle in the rack to look at the back label, open the fridge to see what champage he has cold or ask a question to be yelled at and put down, then laughed and spoke in french to the locals he was serving as they all looked toward us. Rude, arrogant and abusive. Stands in the doorway of the shop to scowl at tourists walking past

Absolutely horrible and unimaginably rude!! Totally kill my holiday mood for just 2 minutes contact with that sale man. Highly recommend to avoid this place if you don’t want to ruin your holiday in Colmar ! Last night in Colmar and I went into this shop to purchase some wine to take home. Because of his unacceptable rudeness, I just left immediately.

One star is already too many for this shop. I witnessed how the owner treats people rudely and disrespectfully, even insultingly. The location and selection in the shop would have been interesting, but the owner is a stereotype of the rude Frenchman who thinks he's above everyone else. We saw foreign tourists treated badly, even being chased off the sidewalk because, in his eyes, they had stared in his shop window for too long. A disgrace for the otherwise charming town of Colmar.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but please avoid this place at all cost. After checking out the store and deciding not to buy anything, the owner started showing rude gestures and yelling at us.

I was able to find in this place a wine to my taste. Price was ok for 1 bottle of Pinot Noir barrique 2017. I recommend.
