I was fortunate enough to have appointed Eric D'Emmerez de Charmoy as my Notary to handle the sale and purchase of my property in Valbonne. I have had experience of other Notaries over the years but Eric D'Emmerez provided exceptional service in ensuring my property sale was efficiently done. He is both personable and helpful taking me through each step of the sales process which can be complicated to say the least. I highly recommend using his services.

We had an exceptional experience. Walked in off the street hoping to make an appointment for a small notarial service. We were immediately shown into a Notaire's office where our document was signed and officially stamped. Everything was pleasant, professional and more than we could have asked for. We'll be back !

To be avoided Unprofessional and uncommunicative. Emails and telephone messages rarely replied to. At times the email box returns emails as it is full and has not been checked.Requested information not provided. It has been necessary to file complaints with the notaire's professional body to get replies to communication. As the notiare refused to reply to any messages we were left having to ask the estate agents to contact him. Inadequate advice that led to significant delays in funds being released. No response at all to numerous requests for interest on money held to be account for. Add to all this is M. D'Emmerez du Charmoy's quite outstanding rudeness and arrogance. We had the worst possible experience which made a difficult situation far worse. We can say nothing good about the service and approach taken by this notaire who we suggest you avoid.
