All the staff were excellent, knowledgeable, professional. The opthamologists both spoke good English, probably about the same as my French, but they know all the technical terms. Their assistants only appeared to speak French, which was fine for me, as my wife was there to pick up the stuff that I missed/confirm my understanding. What was particularly excellent was that we went from one to the other, from diagnosis to treatment options to eventually booking the remedial operation without having to leave the building. I was offered to start the treatment in a couple of weeks but our existing travel plans made it necessary to delay it for 3 months which was no problem except that we needed to fit it in before the summer shutdown.

Facile à trouver et garer. The staff are friendly, hard working and very professional so l understand the need to wait patiently. I left my consultation feeling reassured and happy.

I received excellent service at Le Boulou once you have a rendezvous - but using the online booking service can be a nightmare. Very unsatisfactory system.

I was kept waiting to see the Dr for an hour and a half after seeing the opthalmologist. I asked the receptionist four times if I'd been forgotten as I could see the Dr dithering around the corridor and leaving the building. Then he was just chatting with several receptionists including the one who kept telling me my dossier was with the Dr and he'd call me in. I could see he didn't know I was waiting. She did not check with him once. Eventually the opthalmologist spotted me still waiting and alerted the Dr. I went in, no apology, just a comment that he didn't know I was there. Sixty seconds later my rdv was over and I was handed back my carte vitale by the receptionist with no apology for the error. I was so stressed after being there almost two hours for one five minute eye check and s sixty second review.

The technician as well as the opthamologist were able to speak to me in English to explain my results. All staff displayed a high level of professionalism and expertise.

A long wait but very efficient and good.
