This hospital should be avoided if you think you're pregnant and are experiencing symptoms! There was no thorough examination, and they weren't sure about the diagnosis. They wanted to perform emergency surgery right away, possibly removing an ovary. We drove a total of 10 hours back to Germany, where everything was treated properly. Thank goodness we didn't get treatment in France... because the diagnosis was definitely wrong, and surgery wasn't necessary. During the sonography, they weren't sure what was going on either. In Germany, people laughed about it because the sonography was immediately recognizable and no complications were detected, just like the other tests... We have incurred high costs and a week of vacation which had to be interrupted due to this very bad situation… we will take legal action
5 stars go to dr.Trastour and her emergency team that night when they literally saved my life. I don’t care about the conditions of the building until the team is empathetic, helpful and competent. I go to hospital for help, not to sleep in a hotel. And my room was simple and clean. I am grateful.
As I read some of the negative reviews here about long waiting times. Though I am an impatient person too, I have to say this hospital deserves a much better overall rating than 3.7. I have gone through an extremely difficult twin pregnancy with severe preeclampsia, hospitalised for many weeks and with twins having to spend time in the neonatologie unit (NICU). And I have felt extremely well taken care of. Everyone in the maternity department knows my case inside out and the medical decisions that were taken every step of the way were exactly the right ones. I double checked every single one with a top ranked NIH funded gynecologist in the US who assured me that I was extremely well taken care of. Some of the symptoms I had were extremely rare and yet analyzed correctly in time to avoid major complications. The midwives and nurses are angels. All of them. The sweetest and most caring individuals, and so are the staff in the neonatologie unit. The way the handle the premature babies is absolutely touching. They are patient and welcoming to the parents and one has the option to sleep in the same room with babies. 24/7 access which is very rare in other countries. Also, my scar from the cesarean is as beautiful as it gets. Though I had the disadvantage of not having had a single gynecologist who followed my case (since I entered the hospital as an emergency case) I felt they know what they are doing. And YES this is a university hospital so of course there are many residents (internes) and they are learning still. But they do not take important decisions single-handedly. They are well supervised and it is incredibly important that we patients understand that forming the next generation of future doctors is the way the system works. None of them struck me as someone who should not move into this career field. Well done overall, from my side 5 stars.
Had a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy and as an English speaker I found the staff warm, communicative and helpful. Most spoke English but those that didn’t worked with google translate. Great hospital experience with good food also. A rare find!
My grandmother its been like 2 weeks hospitalized and all of them were kinda kind but it was just one infermier at endricologue she had blond hair and she didn't even care abt patients she knows just to laugh and to talk with attitude with patients
5 years ago I was in hospital here for 3 weeks as my waters broke at 30 weeks. I spoke no french the staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. They kept my baby safe till he was 33 weeks. The delivery was scary fir many reasons yet perfect. I thank all of the staff here for making my 5 year old son Sebastian possible.
Hello I don’t speak or write French but I would like to express my feelings that occurred today at the hospital one of the staff in admission area was really a racist person he was really rude even though we don’t speak French he was showing signs of discrimination as a professional I believe it shouldn’t be like that but it seems it’s the nature😑 I wish to tell his name here! But I don’t think it’s the right way.
Superb hospital - excellent friendly doctors nurses and other staff.
