ASA DE BONNEVAUX

I’ve attended and run many yoga retreats before but this event had the extra and very welcome dimension of Christian meditation. I’m not currently a churchgoer but I have a strong faith so was very happy to find other seekers just like me. I felt truly at home with the place and with myself.

If you're a member of a Christian Meditation group and have an opportunity to visit Bonnevaux on one of their retreat programs I think you'll be quite pleased. I'm happy I attended a 5 day silent retreat as a member of the Benedictine Oblates attached to the WCCM. Besides our traditional prayers, meditation, and special talks, the setting was beautiful, staff were wonderful hosts, and food was excellent. Thanks to Fr. Laurence, Fr. Peter and all the staff & volunteers who work hard to make it all happen. Maranatha.

A classic Christian lay community based on a cloister fragment of an ancient Abbey, but very modern buildings as well of very high quality, such as the meeting hall called The Barn.

Beautiful and peaceful place. More importantly the people hosting us are great!!!! The food was amazing. Every meal was different and delicious! I strongly recommend this place for meditation retreat. We came here as a group of about 40 from Singapore. The retreat program was deep, reflective and for me, revealing. Learnt more about myself and how to transform myself to a better person.
