a lovely location with all sorts of aquatic activities available. good place for a walk. There is a 15 km circuit walk of the lake which is lovely. For the most part you are walking right along the shore, with forest/ woodlands next to you. Very pleasant and an easy, flat stroll.

Lovely spot to try out paddle boarding! You can hire them here and also pedalos, kayaks & lifejackets. It's a good idea to take wet shoes as quite slippery getting in.

Really unpleasant spot. We visited in August when it was very hot. We had nowhere else to cool off, so headed here thinking to enjoy a refreshing swim and picnic in the shade with views of the mountains. The water was tepid and milky; the banks are baked mud, smelly, and you have to wade through lots of slime to get into the water. Pedalos etc to rent (cash only), which might have been nicer than sitting under a tree on the mud; but the water was thick, opaque, and foul for swimming. Nothing like what the website promised!

Great for a swim and chill. Parking can be a bit of a mare sometimes.

Beautiful lake in a picturesque location. Great for canoeing and paddle boarding ect. I didn't think much of the snack bar €4 for a tray of soggy undercooked fries . Take a picnic!

Very pretty lac, beautiful views. Very tranquil. Great for walking and mountain biking as well. A must visit 👌
