When we first decided on a destination wedding, I must have emailed upwards of 10 different chateaus. But Jonathan at Chateau de Vallery was the only one to call me directly and quickly (the same day we sent the inquiry)! We were immediately wowed by the grounds - the size of the grounds, the number of bedrooms available for guests, the varied settings - but what ultimately led us to choose Chateau de Vallery over the others was the level of care and service the whole team provided. The chateau staff made planning a wedding from across the ocean such a breeze. Any question I had was answered quickly, no more than a day later, despite the time difference. They were incredibly accommodating, giving recommendations for all types of vendors. On the day of, everyone was so helpful getting our guests sorted in their rooms. If you're looking to host guests here, note that the chateau does have some hair dryers and steamers/irons, but you might want to give your guests a heads up! Most of all, we and our guests LOVED the two dogs on the grounds, Vasco and Ulysse. They received many pets throughout the weekend. I cannot recommend the Chateau de Vallery enough for couples looking to have the ultimate dream wedding!

If you desire a fairytale wedding..a wedding that only seems to exist in film…this is the venue for you. Let me start by saying the château staff are INCREDIBLE. They are able to assist in anything and everything you may need for your wedding. Their brochure has recommendations for everything from caterers to officiants to entertainment e.g. opera singers, magicians! I was an American having my wedding in France, and every time I emailed them, they would respond within hours, despite the time difference. It was easy to communicate with everyone as almost every member of the staff spoke English. When my husband and I visited the château before the wedding, the owner offered to allow us to stay at the château prior to our wedding date, so that we can absorb the ambiance…choose which bedroom suits us. Incredibly hospitable and kind. On our wedding day, there was a staff member there to assist us all day and night. The château itself is remarkable with a storied history and timeless elegance. There are a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate your wedding plans. It was important to us to choose a venue that had ample accommodations for our guests traveling internationally, and the Château de Vallery has 27 guest bedrooms. The bridal suite is a magnificent pigeonnier/dovecote—a unique, incredible piece of history transformed into a châmbre for the newlyweds. Furthermore, we did not want our guests to have to travel far after flying to Paris from America—The Château de Vallery is approximately 111 km (69 miles) from Paris, easily accessible by car or train (to Sens, France). I recommend the Château de Vallery without reservation.

Though I'd know wedding venues . This one exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the remoteness makes the event a full multi-day event which surprisingly brings about with it this unrushed pace where everyone can truly get into the celebration! My family's experience was amazing. We were well taken care of!

It has taken me some time to write this review, not because I didn’t have anything to say, but because I’ve struggled to find the words to do justice to the magic that was our wedding at Château de Vallery. We are an Australian couple who dreamed of a destination wedding, and on my very first search online, I stumbled across this enchanting castle. From the moment Jonathan answered my call, I knew this place was extraordinary. He was warm, generous, and incredibly patient, walking me through every detail with such care and enthusiasm. Our first call lasted three hours, filled with chatting and laughter, and by the end, I was absolutely certain this was where I wanted to get married. Bear in mind, I had never visited the venue and hadn’t even considered any others. Everyone around me thought I was crazy for booking a venue sight unseen, but Jonathan gave me a sense of trust and belief that words can’t fully capture. Throughout the planning process, despite the time difference, Jonathan and his entire team were always there for us. Their dedication and passion made the experience seamless, and I can honestly say it was the most relaxing and enjoyable wedding planning journey—even without a wedding planner! The first time I saw the castle in person was just a few days before our wedding, and it was even more breathtaking than I had imagined. Our three-day celebration was nothing short of magical, like something out of a fairy tale. The staff made us feel completely at home; nothing was too hard or impossible for them. Every single member of the team contributed to creating what we genuinely feel were the best three days of our lives. Our guests were equally enchanted—many remarked that it was the most incredible wedding they had ever attended. To any couple considering Château de Vallery, we cannot recommend it highly enough. We recently celebrated our wedding at the Château de Vallery. I am American (living in France since 2016) and my husband is French. This venue stood out to us from the beginning because of the large amount of bedrooms and indoor space (especially since we had a winter wedding and a lot of guests coming from the US). Once we met with the Jonathan at the château, we were sure that we wanted to host our wedding here. Everyone on their team is friendly, knowledgable and experienced. We also didn't have a need for a wedding planner thanks to their support on the day of the wedding coordinating and helping us. They don't impose any vendors, but have ample suggestions. We can't recommend them enough!

Incredibly STUNNING wedding venue. We could not have been happier with our 3 days at the Chateau for our wedding. Fabien was amazing. Helped us in every aspect! Worth his weight in gold and then some! The suppliers that are connected to the venue are second to none and very easy to deal with. If you are thinking of having a wedding in France, then you cannot go wrong with this amazing venue. We first visited Chateau De Vallery digitally, Jonathan toured us around to every space, every room we fell in love and knew that this was the venue to have our wedding. We locked in the venue before ever physically being there but the December before our April wedding we finally saw the property in person. We were floored. Better than we could have expected. The staff at Château de Vallery are amazing, so attentive and really with us every step of the way Our wedding week at Château de Vallery was out of a fairy tale. We could not have imagined, better weather, better food, better company. The possibilities are endless at the Château and it is really great you can house 60 people onsite. It is also only an hour and a half from Paris so quite convenient for international guests (which was most of our guests). We loved all the spaces Château de Vallery provided. You could have a different party every day (and we did). We cannot thank Château de Vallery, Patrice, Marie-Ange, Jonathan and all the team of the château enough. You guys made our dreams come true. Don't hesitate to book this place. You will not regret it!

Truly a magnificent experience. My wife and I are based in the USA, and the fact that we chose this château for our marriage ceremony speaks volumes about how exceptional it truly is.
