We enjoyed visiting this market: buying fruit and veg, food to eat at one of the tables, including prepared fish. The wine stall lent us glasses and ice bag to use with the bottle of wine we bought from him. Some highlights: a stall selling powdered vanilla, and vanilla pods - from Madagascar. A stall with really fun bags, look up Arcazip (someone has posted a photo here) - made of long zips, washable…never seen anything like it. Washable, jolly colours. There is a covered building, also stalls outside in the market square. Some stalls said they close at about 1.30 (in May).
This is an amazing market to visit, both to buy fresh produce or to just walk around. The market is located walking distance from the train station so it's a good option to visit when visiting Arcachon. The market also has several options for lunch, all amazing. The market has very fresh oysters at great prices. Worth a visit.
We had a quick meal before heading back to the⛵. It was nice outdoor area in the square and we tried a few tapas with drinks. The area was very busy when we visited.
Beautiful people, beautiful place. Great atmosphere for both day and night. Must visit.
Good local market with a variety of fruit, vegetables, bakery, cheese, meat and seafood of course. You can take something with you, o have a fast snack on the tables near the entrance. It works only till noon. The only pity thing is that all the coffee station provide very poor quality drinks.
Amazing place with plenty of varied products. Definitely worth a visit.
The market is beautiful, not as many merchants as in La Teste but the new market of Arcachon is more of a beauty and much better for tourists.
Quiet small but high quality items
