It was a highly enjoyable and peaceful boat tour; we had a wonderful time surrounded by nature. However, there is a minor downside for international tourists: it would be great if they offered an English audio guide option. The guide operating the boat was only commentary in French, so we missed out on the stories and information being shared. Nevertheless, it is a very unique place and a must-visit when you are in Amiens!

Such an amazing activity to do when in Amiens. It's very cheap and it takes around 45 minutes to do the boat tour. You'll see many interesting sights during the trip. A must do when visiting Amiens. I suggest buying the tickets online in advance.

Lovely way to spend an hour whilst visiting Amiens. The boat trip through the Hortillonnages was informative, interesting and calming. You can't help but be a little of jealous of the people fortunate enough to live in this lovely place. Highly recommended. Think about booking in advance. Several people were turned away because they were full on the day we visited.

So if you are going to visit and want to enjoy the boat tour, you had better to hurry. I couldn’t find any website for the ticket purchase, so I had to visit to buy tickets, and unfortunately, I couldn’t buy them because it was sold out already. I had no option but taking a walk instead of taking a boat tour.

Fascinating trip, gardens and wildlife, never seen so many fish in the crystal clear water, kingfishers everywhere, beautiful gardens. Guide was super friendly, tour was mostly in french but took the time to explain main points in English. Gliding along in a large punt with a quiet electric engine, bliss!

What a beautiful place, probably my favourite thing this holiday. There's a guide sheet you can download in English so you can read about it as the tour was in french, but our very funny guide pointed out wildlife in English and explained things in really clear french so we understood quite a bit of the tour. Super well organised, loved supporting the conservation of this magical place.

We are from the UK and absolutely loved it! You will not be disappointed even though it's a French commentary you can just appreciate the beautiful scenery and winding canal around some amazing homes and gardens and wildlife...very peaceful and easy to find and really responsibly priced! Enjoy it wherever your from 🙏🥰😃

Super visit with a very good boat driver. The commentary is in French, but he was happy to field questions from us 2 English interlopers. Boats hold about 12 or 13 and would recommend booking in advance. Lovely scenery, even though we could only understand snippets of the talk, it was still very good value and highly recommended. There was a very informative leaflet in English supplied. Merci!
