Dinner with my daughter, she loved it, so did I. Friendly staff, great food, go. The good They had me at the fresh porcini and my daughter loves artichoke. Crab starter was great too. Mains were okay, but the starters stole the show. The bad The tablecloths were orange, not sure about that, white would have been better. The ugly Nothing to report.
Great food, we had the sirloin steak with dauphinois both steaks were cooked exactly how we asked for and the potatoes were good aswell. Could do with offering sides as extras though is my only gripe. The dessert was to die for could of ordered that on repeat all night 🤪 Wine was excellent overall great value.
Maxan was a really pleasant evening in Paris. We went here for dinner and had a three course menu. Food: the food was tasty, well done and the starters were creative. We enjoyed it, but missed a „highlight“. Service was very friendly and helpful. We found it a little odd that we first had to keep our used cutlery from the starter and then it was replaced later - used cutlery should not be put back on the table. They also gave us two cookie servings and missed the table next to ours. Nothing too bad, but service mught need some additional training or staff. Ambiance: the very bright ceiling lighting was somewhat sterile and made you more aware of it being a room packed with people. Using small table lights and mood-lighting would improve the mood very much. Overall, a very pleasant evening, with some room for improvement.
An absolute gem in the 8th arrondissement! We had a wonderful dining experience at Le Maxan. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of elegant and cozy—sophisticated enough for a special occasion but with a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The food was the highlight; every dish featured fresh, seasonal ingredients and beautiful presentation. We particularly loved the Atlantic crab and the perfectly cooked veal. The service was attentive and professional without being stuffy. If you’re looking for high-quality French cuisine near the Champs-Élysées, this is the place to go!
Last meal before I leave Paris :) This is honestly the best French restaurant I've had during my 4 days here. The parmesan rolls are delightful, and the starter dish has a fantastic layered texture. The foie gras is so creamy and rich, perfectly complemented by the fig jam. The beef cheek is infused with deep red wine aromas. The service is warm and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. Merci!
Such an amazing and down to earth place. The owner was an amazing guy. He was taking orders and bussing tables. Great attitude a d fun to chat with Quality of food was superb. We had a party of 6 and each got different things. They were all enjoyable without exception. So glad to have found this gem
Terrific meal. Creative without trying too hard. Delicious. Likely the best service we experienced in all of Paris. Only question - the overhead lights were a it too bright. Otherwise - would recommend and would repeat.
The service here was outstanding — warm, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. The wine selection was excellent, and every dish we tried was delicious, especially the duck and the veal, which were truly exceptional. This restaurant left such a great impression that I’ll definitely be coming back next time!
