This is a camping village. Mainly mobile homes, but some tents and RVs. Very large. There is a restaurant, shop and reception. The restaurant is good, you need to book, good choice of moules, if that's your thing, carbonara was not great. The staff in the restaurant have some English. Service is pretty quick. Good bar. Entertainment is available most nights, although we were not aware of this until the second to last night. The waterpark is lots of fun with multiple slides, to suit all ages, a lazy river, jacuzzi and sauna. There is a little train that wanders around the park during the day, seems popular. It is a big park and a 10/15 minutes walk to the waterpark/ reception etc. there is a big leclerc supermarket 5 minutes away. Guerande is pretty and well with a visit. Our fave beach was La Govelle, about 15 minutes, quiet-ish and sandy with parking, toilets and a little cafe. UPDATE: I forgot to mention the WiFi - its quite pricey and is NOT very good, or at least for us (10 minutes from main reception) it was poor and we needed to constantly login!
Atmosphere 5/5 Accommodation 5/5 Activities 5/5 Staff 5/5 All the staff are great! Very friendly and helpful but, I want to make a comment on the Security at the front gate, they were always friendly and helpful, my car broke down and I was waiting for recovery from the car park, Osim helped with the phone calls to the recovery guy giving him directions and helping when he got here. Absolute gentleman!!!
Second year here. It's just a great campsite. Clean, tidy and friendly with a very good waterpark.||Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Guerande is fantastic, la croisic is a great little port town and la baule has a super beach. All are within a few minutes drive.||Special mention to the animations team. We don't even speak french and their shows were great. ||Would recommend
We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children aged 7, 11 and 13 and we are not long home from Domains de leveno. We absolutely loved our stay. We booked direct with the site and our mobile was lovely and clean with fantastic facilities onsite. The waterpark itself suits all ages. It definitely is alot more compact in real life than in the pictures but this wasn't a problem as it meant we could keep an eye on all 3 of our children as they dotted about the slides, pool and lazy river. A word of advice to anyone going would be that men and boys aren't allowed to wear swimming shorts, and shoes/flip flops and food/drink aren't permitted in any area of the waterpark at all. While this was a bit disappointing as we would usually like to have snacks or lunch by the pool it didn't affect our stay. The flip flops issue was a bit of a pain especially when going in to use the toilet, it just felt a bit icky as nothing on your feet using the toilet. Flip flops and shoes aren't even allowed to sit on the ground by your sunlounger. Again, while initially this was a bit of a pain, we got over it and it didn't affect our overall stay. There is a fantastic takeaway onsite which was so reasonable we used it most nights! Just note, that if you are there at opening and want pizza, you might have to order an hour in advance, was worth the wait! The bar and restaurant was fantastic, and there is a grocery shop onsite, ice-cream/creperie and another souvenir type shop. In the evening there are a couple of market stalls ranging from hair braiding to jewellery. Would definitely recommend this site. A bit of a drive to nearest town but sometimes that is half the fun getting to see around you. There was a leclerc and a Lidl just up the road as well.
We have just returned to Somerset, England after a 2 week stay here. What a friendly, welcoming site with staff you can only hope to employ yourself. Our two children 4 and 7 formed special bonds with the fantastic animation team. Special shout out to Justine and Terrense and the rest of the team. They are dedicated, trustworthy and put in long hours. There is some criticism on here of the security guards, but they are brilliant. Engaging, friendly and they don't take any nonsense. Those complaining are those that likely have not been abiding by the rules. The young man on the main gate was charming, and the bar staff work so hard. 5 plus stars! We will recommend to all.
We’ve just returned from Eurocamp Guérande, where our family of six enjoyed a week of togetherness… mostly because the caravan ensured we couldn’t get more than two steps away from each other. Our pitch was charmingly compact, with parking for the van doubling as a daily puzzle challenge. Inside, the bedroom my partner and I shared had “minimalist” down to an art form — just inches between bed and wall. The bed itself sloped gently towards the head end, which was great for anyone who enjoys sleeping on a very mild incline. I managed to stub (and break) my little toe trying to turn around. The broken blind added a touch of rustic authenticity. We were given a replacement curtain a few inches too short — perfect for those who like a hint of daylight peeking in. The maintenance man made a cameo appearance, muttered something about parts, and was never seen again. The children’s rooms were equally snug, and our “dining table for four” with two extra chairs squeezed in encouraged intense family bonding at every meal. Cooking was simplified by the absence of an oven — clearly a bold statement on modern dining. On the plus side, the decking was spacious and lovely, the pool was great fun (even if the surface doubled as a giant foot file), and the flumes kept everyone entertained. The shop, though limited in stock and open only for a couple of hours morning and evening, was there if you needed emergency supplies — provided you had the budget. Security staff were brilliant, and while the entertainment was on the modest side, you could tell they were giving it their all. The only real disappointment was the attitude of some staff when I tried speaking French — if it took me more than three seconds to understand, the conversation was over. Shame, as I was genuinely trying. Overall? Probably a 3-star holiday in terms of facilities, but with the right company, you can make it a 5-star week.
We stayed for 10 nights with 2 14 year olds a 12 year old and an 11 year old.|We had a mobile home with 2 bathrooms which was great for us ! Plenty of space , everything we needed and a lovely private plot. We spent all our evenings outside on the large veranda.|The kids absolutely loved the waterpark and pool areas , and there was never a struggle to find sun loungers.|The shop , takeaway and bar were very reasonably priced and all the staff were lovely and helpful even though our French language skills are not the greatest!|The town of Guerande is very beautiful and well worth a visit .|We would definitely come and stay here again!|If I had 1 small criticism it would be the cleanliness of the toilets at the pool.Floors were always dirty and no soap available to wash hands when so many people are using the facility! Thank you for a wonderful stay.||
This is a good campsite. If your family like water slides the one's here are excellent. Food and service in the sit down restaurant is average only. The service in the bar area also very average. The site is predominantly French and so is the entertainment but entertainment staff are excellent
