Avis
Excellent restaurant naturally a bit overpriced, but the food was amazing despite that. The service was outstanding, and the sommelier was refreshingly honest, recommending not the priciest wine (as often happens) but the perfect one for our meal. Plus, we had an incredible table with a breathtaking view totally worth it!
I have to say this was one of my favorite spots of my summer in Europe. The food was 10/10, fish super fresh, the variety in the menu was nice,, very apropiated to the weather and the local fish. Have to say that was impress with the show was veryyy very nice, also the drinks offer , very good barman, even the little details like the hand fan makes the difference. Thanks La Ferme, for sure will be back on 2025.
Beautiful place and great for a drink maybe (and the food isn’t bad - - especially the starters) but…please avoid at all cost (cost being the operative word) because the service is a joke (except for the sommelier and one waiter) and the prices are absurd and exorbitant €€€€€. Others have posted the same points on that. If this were a 2 star or 3 star Michelin restaurant in Paris, the prices might be understandable- and the service and venue proportionately amazing (the view is amazing but nothing else) but at the Ferme the fish was undercooked, we only got half of it, the maitre d’ was rude and dismissive - unless you want to spend €1000 for €500 of value please do avoid ! Oh and watch out for the mad octane-fueled drivers taking you back to the hotel or boat. Disappointing considering the views - 15 years ago it was a pizzeria and the views were still amazing !
First of all, this is an expensive, exclusive restaurant. We went knowing this and expecting to spend way more than usual for lunch. The views did not disappoint - probably most spectacular we’ve seen. The disappointing part is they rush the service and try to upsell you on everything. Suggesting ordering 5-6 starters for 4 people? Suggesting a €300 bottle of white wine as first choice? A €500 sea bass to share? I think the issue is there are so many tourists who go through the place, it feels a bit like a high end assembly line. That said, it was an enjoyable experience, but they definitely have room to improve.
Had lunch there, amazing scenery, 8 adults and a bill of 700 euros. We were on a boat so not really keen on spending the afternoon boozing or eating just a quick 1-2 hours normal lunch. When we left we were told by the receptionist “ you should come back and try the food next time” hinting that we didn’t order enough. Honestly, either introduce a minimum spend or simply shut your mouth as that ruined the experience for us and we won’t be coming back.
Beautiful place, delicious but not very generous and distracted service. There is no warm welcome when you walk in, the portions are quite small and dishes were super expensive for the sizes/ quality. We ordered a big fresh fish and the cheeks (best part) were not served. It was €250 / head. We expect much better service and food to be honest.
This is probably one of the most exclusive restaurant I have ever been. You only get to this small island on the South of Corsica via boat and after mooring on the port of Cavallo, you are driven to the restaurant via golf buggies. The space is all open to I’m redone views and large tables of the rich and famous. The food was excellent and wine selecting was too notch. Words cannot describe the experience so I posted some photos to help set the scene. Well done La Ferme Team!
Very nice location on top of the hill of the island. Very nice decoration All could be perfect but prices are very excessive 230euros for a grilled 1.2 kilos fish is way too much Wines are also very expensive with x5 or 6 multipliers Food portion quite small Beyond price, all is nice
