I booked with this hostel after Google Maps incorrectly showed me a hostel close to my university. Do not trust their cancelation policy!!! I booked on 10 July and canceled on 10 July. They took the $4,900, despite knowing that my reservation had been canceled. They've now KEPT that money and not even started the refund as of 21 July per my bank. I opened a dispute with my credit card, but they've cost me 11 days of interest at 3.8%. They claim their policy is a refund if canceled 24 hrs ahead - I canceled MONTHS in advance of my reservation. This place should be ashamed of itself, stealing money they have not earned from students!

Great hostel! Clean, quiet. Gentle staff. Easy connection to city centre by tram. Cheap swimming pool just crossed the street, 300 meters.

Very scary experience but at least it was memorable

The room had many spiders and even dirty underwear under the bed. It was disgusting. When we told the reception staff about it, he just looked at us as if we were annoying him with our "take the dirty underwear out of our room" requests.

The hotel is very dirty, didn't even have soap, shampoo or towel. Some of the rooms are full of bugs. The hotel itself is a joke. Looks like an abandoned mental hospital. There is no feeling of a hotel anywhere in the so called "hotel". The rooms have an incredibly bad oxygen circulation.

I went there about one year ago. Girls at the reception were not soo good. Not a lot of experience and maybe still on training. I found the place clean. I was in a twin bedroom with a bathroom. Small tv set on the wall. Brake first is included. There is a huge car parking in front of the building. I was there during the week end, with not a lot of people so it was quiet. Supermarket is near by. Not really a lot of animation on this small city. You need a car if you want to go to Bordeaux downtown. This is not a luxury place (it is an hostel more than a hotel) but I do recommend to go there.

This hotel is below normal standards.||It says open for check in to 23.30. But no-one answered the door or phone after 23.00. ||Had to call the housekeeper to get in.||The drains in the bathroom was emty making the smell from the sewer so bad it took hours before you could enter the room. And no other room to move to.||There is not even towels or soap at the room. Or to buy in reception!||Nothing on the walls. ||Noice from an industrial building in the back every morning.

Good reception, nice rooms, and wooooonderful breakfast ! Everything is really clean ! The staff is attentive. A wide variety of people stay there ! However, the hostel is quite far from the centre of Bordeaux (at least 30 mins of travel)
